A moment that I've been waiting for has finally arrived! Chillerama will be coming home with us November 29th from Image entertainment! $29.97 on blu-ray and $27.97 on DVD. If you're not sure what movie I'm referring to, read more below!

New Horror

Yes, I know it's been like a century since I've updated my blog. But I'm back and I have some upcoming movies I'd like to discuss with you guys. A lot of garbage and some very promising, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm doing this in two parts, this being the first. These are my predictions on the movies. I'll eventually watch and review all of them. I have extremely good judgement, so I'm pretty sure these are all going to kick some major ass. Anyways let's start with the movies that I am DYING to see!

We all know I'm a huge fan of Mr. Joe Lynch and that's why I'm starting my list off with two movies he's directly involved with. I interviewed him back before he had even started this project but he has finished it and sent us this masterpiece straight from the heavens..or hell...whichever you prefer. Welcome world "Knights of badassdom"! I've been waiting a long time to see this movie and I get even more excited by the day. Knights of badassdom is a little story about a group of friends going to a LARP(Live Action Role Playing) gathering in the woods and ending up raising a succubus from hell from an ancient book of some sort. From there on a bloody battle ensues against the demonic creature and it's up to them to stop her. Well let me just say the trailer speaks for itself. Take a gander and enjoy!

Shark Night 3-D
With my freakish obsession with sharks, you know I'm going to be in the theaters when shark night is released. I do have to admit I'm getting sick of all these 3-D movies that are plaguing the theaters, that shit hurts my eyes. I'll take the 2-D, thank you! Anyways the story is about Sara(Sara Paxton) and her group of friends that go on vacation to her lake house in which they encounter a whole buttload of sharks in the lake. People get eaten and the sharks party it up, ya get what I'm sayin'. Also starring Dustin Milligan, Chris Carmack, Katharine McPhee, Joel David Moore(love that guy) and Joshua Leonard. Directed by David Ellis(Final Destination 2, Snakes on a plane). This flick will hit the theaters in a day on September 2nd. Get excited and check out the trailer below!

Video Game - E3 2012 - Movies and TV

Now let's bring it some fresh Asian horror. "Purple House" aka "Zi Zhai" is looking pretty good to me! Not to mention I LOVE the poster art for it! It's a little harder to explain, so here's the synopsis from IMDB.com writer by Clara Shim:
"As Zhou Tong, a bourgeois woman returned from abroad with her fiancé Li Yi to success to her father's property, the old memory was unsealed. The story just begins from there. There aren't any impression or nostalgia for her, though that is the home in which she had lots of childhood reminiscences and which she hadn't been back in a long time. Everything around her make her anxious only. People under one roof are family members not related to her at all, callous stepmother, her younger brother, and her personal hospice and a weird gardener. From the very first moment when Zhou and Li moved in that old house, mysterious incidents happen in continuous, and they cannot find any clue like they are fogged in. All in the house go into have an ulterior motive, Zhou and Li are at a loss for what to do in these situation that seems people have complicated relations each other. Are all of these just a nightmare indeed, or a disaster now happening? 2011 September, the mystery solved!"

This is also being released sometime in September.

Now here's something completely unexpected. I'm sure you all know Daniel Radcliffe from the Harry Potter movies(who doesn't love them?). Well he's decided to jump shift to horror and in a really big way. I think he is finally cutting the umbilical cord from the Harry Potter franchise to showcase the fact that he has lot's of talent for other genre's as well. Well so far so good, Daniel! The trailer looks freaking immaculate! The story centers on a young lawyer that travels to a remote village where he goes to do some paperwork for a recently deceased client. In the village he comes across the wicked ghost of a scorned woman and all kinds of creepiness goes down! Directed by James Watkins(Eden Lake,The Descent 2) and also starring Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer and Roger Allam. The woman in black is looking to be released February 3rd, 2012. Hold on to your dicks ladies and gents and check out the eerie trailer below!

Last but not least we have "R.I.P.D.". This is actually a lot bigger production with big names attached to it such as Ryan Reynolds(Green Lantern,Amityville horror remake), Jeff Bridges(The big Lebowski,Crazy heart), Kevin Bacon(Friday the 13th,Crazy,Stupid,Love.) and Mary-Lousie Parker(Red,Weeds). The first thing that attracted me to this movie was the fact that it's based off of a neat ass comic book series. The Sci-Fi/action dark horse comic by Peter M. Lenkov "R.I.P.D" stand for the rest in peace department. The story centers on a department of undead policemen including recently murdered Nick Walker(Reynolds) who patrol in the afterlife. Basically Nick goes about working for the R.I.P.D. in attempts to find the man who killed him.
Robert Schwentke(Red,Flightplane) is in the directors chair for this one.
This one won't be released until June 28,2013, but you can count on me to watch for updates on the filming.

Hello you horror crazed maniacs! How the f*ck has everyone been? Okay, so I AM hitting up the conventions this year. I'm extremely excited and I hope to meet lot's of you there! Let's talk horror, get drunk and kill someone! I mean...uhh..you know what I meant! Anyways just thought I'd let you guys know where I'll be popping up and what's going on. So my poor blog has been denied for quite awhile. I should actually be studying for an exam I have Thursday, but it can wait. I work and go to school and try to fit in time for movies, photography, modeling and just trying to see my friends. So it's been crazy lately, but I'm clearing some days on my calendar to make it to some conventions!
Cinema Wasteland: Finally! Something comes up every single time I try to go to Cinema wasteland, well this year it's going down!

I'll announce more when I find out what I'll be doing.

I also just got a new HD camera so expect some horror shorts out of me this year! I'm also filming a video for the band "Portrait Of A Ghost" in April and have a bazillion photoshoots lined up! It's going to be one busy ass year, but we'll see what gets accomplished! I'm currently working on a book and screenplay by the same name that I'm really excited about as well.

Flying Croc and Zombiewalk News!

This isn't remotely related to horror movies, but it could be one. Yes, one I'm going to make based on this insane event that took place in the Democratic Republic, Congo. Okay so recently a crocodile got loose on an airplane, the spontaneous croc caused a stampede, which triggered the airplane to tip and then crash into a house and caused the deaths of 20 people, one survived to tell the story. The crocodile did survive, but some dickhead with a machete murdered him when he was sifting through the wreckage. WAIT, WHAT?!?!!. First of all, who the fuck is sneaking crocodiles on board a damn plane? Second of all, who the fuck let this idiot sneak the crocodile on the plane? This asshole brought this crocodile along to sell to someone, ASS HOLE! Then the group of people on the plane were so retarded that they all jumped to front of the plane causing it to nose dive into a house right beside their landing destination. Why does this make me laugh my ass off? So this taintlicker has been wrangling this crocodile into a sports bag and somehow couldn't manage to do the same thing when it finally escaped. This crocodile should not be blamed, poor little guy! Maybe one day people will stop smuggling wild animals into their luggage on airplanes..jesus christ. I had to share this because it's just so fucking ridiculous. As you may have realized there was one survivor from the flight, and that how this story was retold. How did they survive that flying croc? We may never know! I do know that people are fucking morons and it wouldn't surprise me if this same incident happened like a million more times. Aleata Illusion can do nothing but just shake her pretty little head.
On a sidenote, this Friday is the zombie walk in Kent! Who's coming?? I'm gathering the troops and creating my sexy zombie outfit this week! Totally stoked! I'm also available to help with costumes and do zombie make-up. If you need me let me know people! Let's do this! We will also be going to a Halloween party at a punk rock bar afterwards, so let me know if you want to come! I will see you guys there! =]

AS I've explained before I'm a photojournalism major, and I've been a photography nut my entire life. I've been taking pictures since I could hold a camera. So now I'm finally doing my photography thing, and I started a photography blog on Tumblr. It was just my personal blog, but I changed it because it is PERFECT for my photography. Tumblr is an amazing site to use for it. I'll be setting up shoots with people in January, that's when I'll be getting my brand new camera and such. Hello everyone!
Hope everyone is doing peachy, just wanted to say a couple things. School is going okay for me, I'm changing my major though already. I've been busy as hell, which you've noticed because I haven't done much updating to my blog. I'm going to try to change that as soon as possible though, I promise you. I started behind in school because I didn't have my books for like 3 weeks, and I'm still in the process of catching up. I had to move at the beginning of school to and have had an insane amount of stuff on my plate. Film making has been on the back burner for me and it really sucks. I've been doing a lot of modeling though. I'll post some new photo's below for you to enjoy. So after I get caught up and have free time I'll try to post updates with some video blogs, or reviews. I've been meaning to do some video blogs they just get lost in my head with everything else I need to do. I'm also interested in getting started in bar tending, which is going to be fun! Have been studying up on my drinks. The only thing about that is having to deal with crazy drunks hitting on me. Haha. Anyways what has everyone else in the horror world been up to? Status: Movie Review

Well for some reason I wanted to see this movie even though it looked like "An American werewolf in Paris" rip off. That was my first assessment of it, but after watching it, there was a lot more to it. So it caught my attention as one of the movies I should review. Plus I would love to run around some catacombs myself one day, creepy awesome! =] There’s actually a museum in Palermo, Sicily, Italy in the catacombs with walls covered in corpses. It fascinates the shit out of me, and I would die to visit this place. Someday..it’s gonna happen!

The story follows Victoria(Shannyn Sossamon, one the the shittiest actresses in horror history or just flat out HISTORY) as she receives a postcard from her sister Carolyn(Alecia Moore AKA the crap pop singer Pink) saying "Come to Paris, I think it will be good for you". So she packs her bags and flies to Paris to broaden her horizons. I would just like to balantly state that Pink has a Saint Bernard head the size of Texas+Mexico, and I don't enjoy staring at her face and huge forehead. Why do loser pop singers always try to infiltrate our horror scene when no one likes them anymore, get outta here! I don't want to be disturbed by your shitty acting in a decent movie. Anyways, Victoria arrives in Paris and meets up with her sister, they go back to Carolyn's crib to kick it for awhile and then run off to a party. Her friends throw huge butt fucking roofie bashes in the catacombs under the city, but they do it in a different place every night, so as to not get caught by the po-po or the "catacops" as they call them.
Victoria is pretty hesitant to begin with, but then she gives in to peer pressure, and goes shopping for a new outfit to partay in! They arrive and the party gets started with some ghost stories and absinthe. The group of prankster French friends tell her the story of a boy who was kept in the catacombs and was inbred. He was tormented his entire life and made to be a killing machine. Oh and did I mention he wears a bloody goat head, and is crazy rabid. So anyways Veronica gets angry with Carolyn because she doesn't want to swim, she wants to go back to the party. Don’t throw a bitch fit or anything. Carolyn and the others won't walk her back, so she gets pissed and wanders off herself. Carolyn catches up with her and bitches at her about getting lost, when all of a sudden, BAM! Carolyn's dumbass gets her throat slashed, which leaves Victoria lost and alone in the catacombs with an inbred maniac after her.

The whole movie work and everything, but seriously these people should know better. Some people being put in live or die situations revert into survival mode, and will end up stabbing you with the closest pointy thing, as we witness here. It's just not that good of an idea to lock someone in catacombs alone, then have someone wielding a weapon chase them around and “kill” people in front of them, then be stupid enough to leave ACTUAL weapons laying around everywhere. Obviously there's going to be some type of freak accident, come on now! Not to mention mixing all that madness with the aftereffects of absinthe. Those people must have a death wish. Who would want to do something that screwed up to their sister anyways? We've all pulled some practical jokes on our sibilings at one time or another, but this? I'm talking hiding behind a door and jumping out, or hiding in their closet in a Ghost face costume, or even hiding under their bed and grabbing their legs. I've done all those things might I mention, haha. But Seriously? I'd stab my sister to death too, shit! That's just crossing the line of "I'm not crazy, your a crazy bitch" type of thing. That what happens when you put Pink in a movie, SHE DIES! She was pretty retarded to go to the airport covered in blood. She wouldn’t make it home. A French policeman with a curled moustache and shiny shoes would torment the truth out of her, then they’d bring her down to the catacrime scene and rape her to death. The End.

Aleata Explains It All

Hey everyone, I know I haven't updated my blog in like almost an entire week, so I wanted to share what's going on in my life. I'm starting at Kent State the 30th, I've been getting ready for school, packing, and preparing for my going away party I'm having tomorrow. I've been extremely busy, so I haven't been writing that much. I am, however, buying a new laptop soon. It's just between all the stuff I have to do, I don't know if I'll be updating this blog more or less. I just finally went crazy and was like "I can't do this anymore, I need to do something now". I don't want to sit around this boring, loser town doing nothing with my life. I'm about to be 24 and haven't even made a full length movie yet, so I made a decision. I need to meet new people, and learn new things. Out with the old and in with the new. I'm actually not going for film to your surprise, and my own. Kent doesn't have a film program anyways. I will be taking photojournalism, which really suits me. I'm not giving up on film though, I have lot's of plans for continuing what I'm doing. With school though I think I'll be able to have more time to focus on the stuff I need to. Anyways also wanted to say thank you guys for still reading, and hope everyone is doing great! I'll try to update as much as I can.
Oh and along with everything new in my life, I decided "why not have some new hair too".

So, I had my first encounter with someone being rude over a crappy screener. Look over to the left side of the screen and read where Aleata wrote that she is "brutally honest in reviews". I'm not going to sugarcoat anything, If I think your movie is bad, I'm going to say so. Anyways let's get back to this person. I was being constantly harassed by this person to review their movie over and over again. I have a busy life, and also get quite a few movies to review. So being harassed constantly by this person pissed me off pretty bad. Then after I finally post the review, obviously it wasn't to the person's liking, because they went straight into ignore mode. Listen here, If I take time out of my day to write a review about your movie, which is promoting it anyways to my readers, don't cope a fucking attitude with me! You know beforehand that I'm not going to be kissing everyone's asses, have you read half of my reviews? If you're rude to me, do you think I'm going to want to review anymore of your crappy(Or perhaps good) movies? Pry fucking not!
If you send me a request to even watch a movie, I'm on it, eventually. Haha. I'm pretty cool when it comes to helping out independent filmmakers, etc. If you are polite and ask me to review your movie, I'm going to review it. But don't get a tude with me if it's not to your liking. I'm not going to lie to my readers, everything you read here is exactly how I feel, and what I think about these things. So please, in the future, be polite, or I won't deal with you again. Period. You are the one coming to me for help, so please know how to act. Let's just say if you don't want anything bad said about your movies, then don't make movies. Somewhere along the line your going to have to deal with criticism, that's how things work. I review movies. That's what I do. Remember that.

DVD Sneak Peek - Watch the Women's Studies "Prequel"

To celebrate the June 8th DVD release of Women's Studies, Ningen Manga Productions' feature length movie about a women's academy where female empowerment is something to kill for, the filmmakers are giving audiences an early look at some of the special features included on the DVD.

First up is a deleted scene introduced by writer/director Lonnie Martin, The Black Widow "Prequel," the sequence that originally opened the movie. It chronicles the tale of three frat boys who think they're in for a night of strippers and fun, but end up having a party that's far more sinister. See, the nightclub they go to is run by the ladies of the Ross-Prentiss Women's Academy, so the last thing these boys are getting out of tonight is a good time.

Owner of Cult Collectibles, Mark Jason Murray comments, “I became a tremendous fan of the film even before I saw it and when I started brainstorming what would be the perfect license to launch my toy company, BLACK DEVIL DOLL seemed to be the best fit. Thinking as a collector and fan, this is something that I would love to have in my own collection and since the film character is essentially a “toy” it was an easy choice. The figure was created with great attention to detail while still allowing it to have an identity of its own. "A lot of time was spent getting the details of the figure just right," states Murray. "It was still important for the figure to appear as a characature, which the bobblehead format is famous for, but only slightly as anything "cute" would have gone against the character in the film. It's really very accurate, from the subtleties of the facial expression down to its boots."

Besides holding a knife in one hand, even further details were included to help bring out the spirit of the film character and one of the film’s biggest jokes. “What started as a simple afterthought during the initial planning of the figure turned out to be one of the figure’s best features and one of the most difficult to obtain. We wanted the figure to be holding a bucket of “Oakland Fried Chicken” and initially it came back looking like Colonel Sanders on the bucket which was the exact opposite of what it’s supposed to look like so after multiple design revisions it finally got to where it needed to be and it brings a whole new level of hilarity to the figure that I am sure fans of the movie will really enjoy. I am very happy with everything about this figure. It was great to work with the creators of the character and film and perhaps we can collaborate on something else in the future.”

Murray’s company strategy is simple. “I really want to do figures that put Cult Collectibles in a category of its own and this provided me with the ability to do just that. I anticipate the figure will sell out quickly.”

Reminds me of Jack and the beanstalk

This is such a BAD movie I HAD to review it, because I just have so many nice Aleata-friendly things to say about it. One of my best friends Adam King passed away and I got a good chunk of his movies, and this just happened to be one of them. Seriously this is one of the only bad ones, Adam has fantastic taste in movies. So I can't help myself I've been in a real foul mood lately, so time to vent some of that anger. Funny-Anger that you guys are going to giggle yourself to sleep thinking about. I really enjoyed Toby Wilkins movie Splinter, so when I saw that he directed this movie, I was extremely disappointed. What were you thinking Toby? This movie failed in all it's appalling aspects.

Alright before I unleash my unstoppable Aleata shit talking terror on this movie, let me give you a quick synopsis. This is the third movie in the grudge trilogy, for those of you who haven't seen them, you don't want to. It jumps around a bit in the beginning. We're at a mental institution, then in Japan, then back in America. But if you have a brain you'll keep up with everything. It's pretty simple, just like the entire movie itself. The whole thing just drags along slowly, even when we are watching people get killed. That is pretty much all off screen anyways, GAY!
This story focuses on a family of an oldest brother Max (Gil McKinney), second oldest sister Lisa (Johanna Braddy), and the littlest sister Rose (Jadie-Rose Hobson). Rose has some problem where she needs a breathing tank, because she has these little bitch fits. You know really bad gasping convulsive fits of idiocy on the floor, that's actually a disease? I thought they just called those alcoholic seizures(inside joke). Anyways they are living in a apartment building that Max is working at and trying to rent out the rooms. BUT there's something evil lurking in the apartment and killing people. Something slithering on the floor like a snake and rubbing your face while your trying to sleep. WHAT IN GODS NAME COULD DO SUCH A THING?!?!!!. I'm telling you now, if some little naked Asian kid came front rolling at me on a stair landing screeching like a rabid cat, that little fucker would be punted right through the railing. I'm talking a round house to the face. Aleata Illusion doesn't play that shit! I guess this family is just a bunch of poon tangs, so they are scared of these supernatural forces of dead retards. So more strange happenings start taking place in the building, along with a few deaths, and that's about it. Shawnee Smith(Amanda from Saw) makes an appearance as a doctor to a boy who gets killed by the spirit at the beginning of the movie. So Shawnee gets offed, then Andy(Beau Mirchoff) Lisa boyfriend she bangs all over the building gets offed, the building manager gets meowed to death, and some Asian broad gets offed by Max...that's about it. If I'm put through complete garbage, I always demand TITS and GORE! This does not deliver ANYTHING! The characters are horribly stupid, especially Lisa, of which the movie focuses most on. She pretty much realizes all the things going on when it's about to late, and her brother is a possessed maniac. Really lady? How could you miss the signs? The Asian lady tells her, she's see's dead people around her apartment, and people are dying everywhere, then her brother gets possessed, And mainly that little Asian boy imitating a dying cat obnoxiously everywhere.. How stupid can you possibly be? Does she also not know the difference between her asshole and her mouth either? When the Asian lady(who's sister died there) comes back to save the day, Lisa just grabs her sister and runs off like a big pussy. She only wanted Rose to ingest some AIDS infected blood, what's wrong with that? You've saved the day Rose, but now I'm sorry to inform you that your an 8 year old with AIDS! Tricky tricky Asians, you knew there was a catch right? I'm bullshitting you about the whole AIDS prospect, but that should teach you guys not to drink someone's random bowl of blood. Aleata Illusion even hands out life lessons in movie reviews, BAM!

So if I see one more god damn, bad American remake of an already BAD Asian movie, with little ghost kids meowing like cats...I swear to fuckballs! It's not scary, I laugh for like a couple seconds then want to burn my eyes out with a red hot poker. The kid doesn't even move his mouth, he just has it wide open and a cat sound coming out. Secondly the whole doing front rolls on stair landings and crawling like a legless person on the floor doesn't need to be done in a movie ever again. I don't understand how that is scary whatsoever either. Let's move onto the actors, watching these actors try to struggle through every scene with their shitty NON-acting abilities made me want to special delivery myself anthrax. What's so special about the special effects you ask? NOTHING! It's a bitch crawling on the ground in fast forward looking like a palsy victim in white paint. I'm sick of people bragging and carrying on about how original these American remakes are. Then there's the people who see Ju-On, and there like "did you see the original, it's so amazing, and blah blah blah" trying to impress. They sit at home with their copies of The Grudge and Pulse thinking there has been a break-through in cinema. NO! Listen here betches, you want to watch a real good Asian film, try Wild Zero, Red Eye, or Riki-Oh: The Story Of Riky. I'm Ill tempered about these movies because they don't deserve credit, there's nothing remotely spectacular about them. The American idiots who remake these movies, just want to get some quick cash. They know nothing, and they prove that as we all have to bear witness to the trash. They are repetitive, and boring.
The opening credits weren't original, but they were okay looking. Let's talk about the Asian heroine. First off the Asian lady Noako(Emi Ikihata) who plays her can't imitate an Asian accent worth a shit. I could mimic it better than she does. Lady, you are fucking Asian, what is wrong with you? You don't have any relatives that speak broken English in their Asian accents. You can't even watch a Kung-Fu movie and learn to imitate them. You ma'am are a bad actress, now you shall be stoned! Not like weed, but like "she's a witch stone her". If you think you're fooling anyone with that accent, you were clearly smoking crackrocks in between shooting. I also love in movies when a dead body is being removed from the scene of the crime by the paramedics, and the dead persons head always gets covered up at the last second and someone sees it. That's all bullshit, you know they cover that shit up before they would even have left the room. I'm a sucker for details. Then we have a completely random scene of Max scraping lettering off a glass door. They make the scene seem like he's sitting in a Saw room trying to escape a trap. With all the fast shots, and awkward extreme noises, it was way ridiculous and uncalled for. Because the fact that he's doing his job scraping letters off a door is so important to the plot. Another scene that was ridiculous was the one where the big sister comes back to save the little sister. Okay, she's peeks around the doorway, and the brother is right in front of her, I mean right there. She yells "ROSE" and somehow magically he doesn't hear her. Then the little sister walks right by him and they run off. You know, he just didn't seem to notice anything at all. The scene was way to long as well, I played an entire game of SORRY waiting for it to end. Then one of the most retarded scenes in the movie(Aside from every other scene) is when Max starts running himself into a wall like Helen Keller. *Shakes head* I rest my case.

Get your dick breath out of here lady!

This movie screams YOU'VE SEEN ME BEFORE, I SUCK! There's not one new or fresh thing about this movie. It's part of a deplorable trilogy, in which every movie the exact same thing happens. The only thing that changes is the lame characters, and no one likes them anyways. Butt fucking bad actors! We saw the ending coming from a mile away, and BOO to that!

Splatter is something I was really freakin' excited about. I heard about it awhile ago, and was like "that is just to fucking cool"! Splatter is brought to us by the legendary Roger Corman, Written by Richard Christian Matheson, Directed by Joe Dante, and stars the one and only Corey Feldman! I heard it was airing on netflix.com, but now it is also available to watch on www.hulu.com . I gotta say I'm about to go watch these, and get back to you guys about them. I mean I had a big enough crush on Corey when he was in "Bordello Of Blood". Mmmmm Corey in a leather jacket, and then as a vampire, SCORE! So to see him again as a rockstar type, is extremely exciting for me. Not in the I'm going to masturbate to his on screen personality way or anything..pfft..whatever I know you guys are giving me that strange look...but don't turn away, I have more to talk about! The show also stars Mark Alan, Tara Leigh, Stuart Pankin, Tony Todd, and Erin Way. Now I'm not sure if this was just a one season sort of thing, or if they have more in the works, but I'll be sure to let you guys know. Or shit, if you know, let me know. Haha.

Now let me explain the catch to this show. After every episode the viewers were able to vote on who they wanted to bite the dust next! I love the whole idea of that and can't wait to see what happens!

This is another one I remember from when I was a littlin'. The one image burnt into my memory was the snarling, drooling rocking horse in Vicki's room. It was funny because my sister Brittany asked me about what movie it was recently and I was like "you know, I don't remember". But then about 2 weeks later Brittany buys Prom Night 2: Hello Mary Lou and runs downstairs like "I know what it is"! It's brilliant the way she always finds movies at the right time. This movie actually seems like it should be in the Nightmare On Elmstreet series. With all the macabre happenings, high school kids, and possessed inanimate objects. It has an extreme dose of Freddy-esque material, but that's how it stands apart from the other prom night films! It's like if a nightmare on Elm Street and Carrie had a love child, this movie would be that raving, blood drenched, demented child. It makes for a jolly and gorey good time! And oh you hear Aleata say this a lot, it's one of my favorites! I really enjoy me some 80's horror flicks, and Prom Night 2 is definitely a winner!

So let's cut to where else, the 80s! Ow owwww! So the story revolves around Vicki (Wendy Lyon) a high school girl who begins to get haunted by Mary Lou Maloney (Lisa Schrage). I would like to throw in that Lisa Schrage is fucking gorgeous and I would ask her to the prom any day! Her features are just so perfect and she has those big beautiful light blue eyes. Mary Lou 30 years ago was a trashy rebel that everyone viewed as a popular goody two shoes girl, whom everyone loved and voted prom queen. But her current square boyfriend Bill (Michael Ironside) finds her messing around with her delinquent lover Buddy(Richard Monette) behind the stage at the school dance and freaks. His bout of insanity leads to Mary Lou being caught on fire while she's accepting her prom queen crown on stage. The opening sequence with Mary Lou in the confessional saying she did vulgar things and then writing her own number inside the box under "for a good time call" is sooo classic and fanfuckingtabulous! It's one of those scenes I just watch and impulsively yell out "hell yeah", haha. Anyways Mary Lou is such a fun character you automatically like her and want to see what she does next, well at least I did. I felt the need to side with her the entire film,as per usual. Everyone gets their heart broken in high school, but who actually goes out and sets their ex on fire. Haha, what a dickhole. Plus the guy looks partially bald in high school, and that just makes me not like him. Boo on you creepy psycho bald man! But the scene where she flails around enveloped in flames is pretty brutal. We get to watch her literally toast like a marshmellow, now that's a good time betches! So back to Vicki, she's young, blonde, popular, and Mary Lou wants that body. Not in a sexual way, but to possess and cause trouble with. I actually would like to express the fact that I think Wendy Lyon is ugly as hell, she looks like a freakin old woman. She seriously reminds me of a tacky old Amish woman. Vicki and her boyfriend Craig(Justin Louis) are planning to happily attend the school prom, but Mary Lou is soon going to change that. Oh and did I mention that Craig is Bill's(Bill is also the school principal) son? Yes, it's getting extreme up in here! So up until prom Vicki's friends are mysteriously dying in the most awesome ways possible! Then Mary Lou completely possesses Vicki's body and has a good ol' time with it. By that I do mean she does a number of really twisted, fucked up things. Then she takes Vicki's body to the prom to cause a butt fucking crazy massacre. Once she emerges from Vicki's remains and takes full Mary Lou form, and the real chaos and bloody mayhem ensues!

We get some of the most beautifully fucked up scenes in this movie. Don't believe me? Well then let me give you a little taste of writer Ron Olivers madness. There's a scene where a chick who just found out she's pregnant gets offed, an incestuous make-out scene between Vicki and her own father, a sexually charged rocking horse licking his lips(ooohhh creepy), Vicki takes a swim in a chalkboard(one of the best scenes), a borederline rape scene, and a girl gets smashed inbetween some lockers when Mary Lou sings a catchy tune. If you weren't curious a little bit ago, you should be now and it only gets better. This is a movie that for one reason or another is quite memorable. As I've said before I'm still not quite over the traumatizing rocking horse scene. I also remember there being another movie with a creepy rocking horse, but the scene took place in an attic...does anyone know what I'm talking about? Because me and Ian can never figure it out. Anyways another thing I enjoy about this movie is all the colors, the set design, the characters clothing, etc. And they also did something movies usually avoid for some reason, showed the main characters tits, and bush for that matter, and just her whole naked body! I mean that's awesome in my book, but they usually show like the random slutty friends tits, not the heroines. Yeah, Aleata loves boobies, what of it?!?.

Also this movie has some of the most catchy quotes you'll ever hear. My favorite is.."There's no god Buddy, and there's no heaven, and you know what pissed me off the most? There's no fucking wings"! Then there is all the nifty little one liners Mary Lou says, hey she's from the 50s, what do you expect? "See you later Alligator", is pretty common but still sounds good when she says it. Along with the highly original deaths, the special effects are magnificent! So *High five* Jim Doyle and William Guest! It's funny because Jim Doyle also did the special effects for the first Nightmare on elm street and a Friday the 13th, pretty neat! You know I've just realized that I really enjoy horror movies that take place at the prom. There's something about people being slaughtered on a strobe lit dance floor that really gets me. You'll probably notice that I don't have a paragraph for the things I "dislike", because I pretty much liked everything in this movie. It keeps your attention no matter what's going on in it. So I really can't complain, the movie is just that damn enjoyable. I think it's always so much funner when movies take a supernatural approach, other than the flesh and blood killer type. You have a lot more options in the creativity department, and they really go all out. And I can't stress enough how much I adore unhappy endings.

Well I finally found out from one of my geek connections where we can find this amazing man's work. Wow! I've been watching all of the flicks today and I gotta say, they are pretty neat. I especially enjoyed the short entitled "Raw" about a vegetarian boy who has a butcher father, who tries to force him to chop up cattle and such. It has a very fitting ending to it. And Dummy had me in fucking stitches! Danny Devito punching a bitch was pretty f'n hilarious. Not to mention they are seriously going all out with the blood and gore! Anyways the site is filled to the brim with fun stuff such as horror shorts, blood factory web store, blog, photo galleries, and plenty of updates to let you know what they are doing next.

Also in their new updates; Danny DeVito and his entire crew will have their own booth at The San Diego Comic Con 2010. How awesome is that? I really wish I had the cash to go to one sometime, I mean this would be one of the first booths I'd hit up. At their booth you'll be able to make your own horror film and then they are doing a live panel Friday, July 23rd at 9:30pm in room 5AB. That's in a couple days people, so if your going, keep it in mind!!

So Happiness runs is a drug induced craziness, teenage angst, brainwashed hippies, celebration, and mainly growing up in a hippie commune with no sense of direction flick. As it says at the beginning of the movie, it's based on a true story. All the actors in this flick are B.E.A Utiful! Starring as the main kids are Hanna Hall(The virgin suicides, Rob Zombies Halloween) as Becky, Mark L. Young(CSI, Big Love, Sex Drive) as Victor, Jesse Plemons(Observe and report and Varsity blues) as Chad, Steven Christopher Parker(Bad Blood, My suicide) as Teo, Laura Peters(Text , Without a trace) as Rachel, Tyler Steelman(17 again, The sweet life of zack and cody) as Nardo, and I saved the best for last..Shiloh Fernandaz(Deadgirl, Skateland, Wasted, Red) as Jake. Have I mentioned how much I adore Shiloh? Rewind to my Deadgirl review and I think you'll understand. Anyways we also have some spectacular actors playing the adults such as Rutger Hauer(Buffy the vampire slayer,Sin city), Andie Macdowell(Four weddings and a funeral, As good as dead), and Mark Boone Junior(Dead birds, 30 days of night). So after reading through the synopsis I glimpsed at Shiloh's name and got a little out of control. Shiloh plus crazy ass hippie brainwashing, I'M DOWN! For some reason Shiloh is not credited in this movie on IMDB.com, what the heck? Come on people he's SHILOH FUCKING FERNANDEZ, please catch up with the rest of us.

Okay let me start out saying I never got to see the cover art because I received a screener, and when I found it, I was impressed. If I saw that sitting on a shelf at the video store it would definitely make me want to rent it, you can tell these kids look a little dysfunctional on it. And I love fucked up kid movies, especially Larry Clark films. That man knows how to bring you real trauma! He blew me away with movies such as Kids, Bully, and Another day in paradise. I'll pry eventually review all of those, but that's not the case now. I get off topic so ridiculously easy. Anyways you get a really melancholy feel from the cover and then it has the tagline "generation lost", Love it! It would be 10 times better though if Shiloh Fernandaz's face was somewhere on there. Someone named Aleata would have really appreciated that! Anyways a group of kids that have grown up in a little hippie utopia have all become drug addicts, freaks, and uhm sluts. So we follow mainly the characters Victor and Becky. Victor is hell bent on leaving the community, but his mother won't give him his rightly owed cash monies. Becky has come back from college to take care of her cancer ridden dad, and is very depressed and acting out in a whorish manner. By that I do mean she's banging every guy she comes into contact with, ugh! That's no way to drown your misery..drugs and sex? Now you're dad will still be dying and you will find out you have AIDS AIDS AIDS! Yep, I couldn't help myself. Anyways one of the things that disturbed me was seeing Hanna Halls tits constantly, she looks like a little girl, it was creepy. Made me feel like a total pervert. What’s up with Hanna playing suicidal characters, haha. So Victor is the cutest little romantic and happens to be in love with Becky(like a couple other guys she’s fucking) and wants to take her away with him. She finally agrees and he’s like the happiest person ever, and this is after he finds out she just slept with Jake. At that point I would have been like, “bitch, go home”!

So when I first ordered the movie, I only knew A. that Shiloh Fernandez was going to be in it, and B. that it was about a bunch of old crazy hippies. I had no idea they were going to be focusing on the teenagers lives completely. It really didn't say much about them in the description. When I started watching it and got past the credits, I'm just like "fuck yeah"! I have a total thing for drug movies, I don't know why. They are always entertaining and pretty awesome, especially drug-horror. So there is so much groovy(I’m using this word in a Bruce Campbell way, not hippie) shit about this movie. First off these hippies have a fucking ferris wheel in there little commune, so people can just ride it when they want. I’m sorry, but that’s what the fuck I’m talking about! When I was little I always imagined getting rich and buying the zipper to put in my backyard. How badass would that be? But there is also a lot of twisted shit about this commune. For instance the fact that everyone fucks this OLD Insley(Hauer) guy, like all these young girls. You have to be a complete idiot to believe the shit the main men in the commune are talking about. It’s like yeah they are considering it “brainwashing”, but how stupid do you have to be to get brainwashed? Especially into fucking a bunch of saggy old men, EWWW! There's a scene that made me laugh when the character played by Junior is talking to a group of naked chicks. He's all like talking about them relaxing and floating yadda yadda yadda, then he's like "and everyday you become more and more attracted to me". Eeeek! The Insley character had made a comment to Becky when she was little. He drew a square on her ass and said it was his piece of ass, then when she was older he said, “he’s come to collect his piece of ass”. Oh my fucking god, how absolutely creepy is that? They also just let their kids run around and do drugs and drink. There’s a scene where these 10 year olds are smoking a joint in a tree, haha. Okay, I know you’re hippies, but it’s called child endangerment.

So the story continues as everything and everyone goes downhill. The Rachel character has a bit of a self mutilation problem. We see this when she goes to have sex with Chad, he goes to pull down her pants and her thighs are completely covered in scars. I actually really liked that scene, it sorta surprises you out of nowhere. Jake apparently has a drug and whore problem, but we get to see Shiloh look extremely sexy the whole movie. I would also like to mention that being stuck in a boring wilderness most of the time, these kids have great style! The Halloween costumes they wear in the movie are really neat as well. All the shots of Becky walking around in her angel costume were mind blowing. The director really knew how to convey that sense of loneliness and somewhat insanity she was plagued with after finding her father dead. A few more deaths happen as the movie comes to a close, but I’ll let you guys see for yourselves.

Another very nice touch to this movie is the fuckin’ kickass soundtrack. It’s made up of artists such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, Buzzcocks, Bad brains, The Blue oyster cult, The avengers, UK subs, The Descendents, Joy division, and A flock of seagulls. That’s not all the bands, but most. So someone has quite outstanding music taste. It was shot in Malibu, California and the location was flippin’ beautiful. There’s so many great quick and trippy scenery shots, the sky was especially gorgeous! Well enclosing I would like to share a quote with you from the movie that I found very enjoyable. This is said by the pedoperv Insley and the line after that by one of his brainwashed whores. “I hear the angels trumpeting”, “Well tell the angels to fuck off”! This made me log roll down a flight of stairs with joy I thought it was so funny. I bet your wondering how I was so close to a T.V. and a flight of stairs...SHHHHHH! Go on with your bad self and see this movie!

Okay this film I received from writer/director/producer/editor/cinematographer Ted Moerhing. That's a true independent filmmaker right there, doing everything yourself! This is Ted's first movie and he describes it as "a Giallo homage in the tradition of Bava and Argento". It's being released by Alpha video and will be available July 27th. The movie is available to pre-order on Amazon and other online sellers for those of you interested. This was also one of the movies mentioned in Troma founder Lloyd Kaufmans book "make your own damn movie"!. Man I really don't know how Lloyd does so many movies all the time, he must be the busiest man in the film world! So lets get onto the review kiddies!

The plot/story is quite simple to follow and predictable. Bloodbath in the house of knives is a cheesy slaughter movie about a girl named Ivy (Anne Reiss) who is being stalked by a gold masked killer. Detective Bliss (Joseph Michael) is assigned to the case and together they try to figure it out. So we get tits in the first 5 minutes of the movie, which is always a good sign to me. The opening scene they get right to business with the killer murdering a girl right off the bat. Not to mention she has her throat brutally slashed and is then raped with a knife(AWESOME)! Then we get to meet our heroine who is receiving threatening phone calls from a random creeper. I just don't understand why she wouldn't have reported that to the cops sooner. They set up a number of suspicious characters that the killer could be throughout the movie, but it's not a big surprise when you find out in the end who it is. Anyways Ivy is put under surveillance by the police, but everyone around her ends up dead as disco. That is until the killer decides that they are done playing and it's time for the big reveal. And the plot thickens and the torture begins...well somewhat. Until the detective senses something is wrong and comes back to check on Ivy. The ending is pretty unexciting, but effective enough for the popcorn horror audience.

First off I have to point out the cover art, it's fantastic! Hey, the cover art is an important part of your movie, you want to attract an audience. It's a major plus in the business. Right when I look at it I think "grindhouse flick". I would have to say this is quite a popcorn flick. Now let's move on to the movie itself. The editing was really good, this movie was pieced together very well. The special FX were all really good and natural looking except for the stab at the end of the movie, I don't understand what happened there. So high five to the special FX team Marnie Beitz and Tyler Rankin. A scene that I'm fond of is the one where the girl is tied up and her flesh is being pierced with those long needles. Always an enjoyable sight to behold. There's a good soundtrack to the film as well, it's a mix of punk-ish to metal-ish music. The basic soundtrack was okay as well, like I said the editing was really well done. Of course there was a homage to Dario Argento's lighting in films, which always works out nicely I think. It's a slick way to enhance the tension in movies and really adds to the atmosphere. And of course I have to bring up it was awesome to see Mr. Lloyd Kaufman pop up in it, he always puts a smile on my face.

Now onto the downs of the movie. The acting aside from Lloyd Kaufman and the actress who is answering the cops questions at her door, was horrid. The actors delivered their lines to quickly without taking a moment to think or breathe it seemed. So all their dialogue comes out all mumbled together, and it's hard to get into these characters when they are badly portrayed. There's really no connection to the characters, so we don't give a crap if they get offed or not. That's not always a bad thing in a movie though, it can be extremely fun to cheer for the deaths of people. There's always that one character that your like, "god damnit if someone does not rape that fucker with a hammer and then bash his brains out, I'm going to lose my mind"! The blonde guy who's talking about just buying a pair of gloves when it's clearly summerish out had me laughing for about two hours. I know, I know, I'm easily amused. I know why it was placed into the plot, but I still find it hilarious. I don't think that's something that anyone would usually question. But I'm not anyone, so yeah.
All in all this is a movie to sit back and watch while your getting crunk. You'll find it has everything a popcorn slasher needs...boobs, blood, and a crazed maniac. Isn't that what life is about? Yeah, I thought so! You can count on me to keep any eye out on any new Ted Moehring projects in the future.

Oh my god this movie straight shocked me, and I couldn't stop watching. Do you want to watch washup ex-popstar Debbie Gibson as a serious scientist? Or maybe a giant CGI shark eat a plane whole after jumping a bazillion feet in the air? Or maybe you just want to see some CGI tentacles for fucks sake?!. Wait, no! I bet you want to see a CGI shark eat a CGI golden gate bridge in one chomp, and then people overact sadness? Muahaha, just say yes to one of these and we'll move on. YES, well then yes it is! Let's move on I have much to share with you!

So we are introduced to Emma (Deborah Gibson) a scientist who is pretty much a fish herself being so in love with the ocean and studying it. Emma and her partner Vince (Jonathan Nation) steal a submarine from their work and go exploring in the ocean, which results in them releasing trillion year old sea creatures that were frozen in battle ages before. What were those creatures you ask? MEGA SHARK AND GIANT OCTOPUS! Let's not fuck around folks these are two vicious prehistoric CGI maniacs that will consume anything! And I do mean ANYTHING! So the monsters are on the loose and mega shark does not take anytime to stop and smell the sea coral, he eats a plane! All the while giant octopus goes on the move to assault some Asians on the other part of the world. After Emma finds a huge ass shark tooth in a butt fucking gargantuan whale washed up on the beach, she calls her mentor and ex college professor Lamar (Sean Lawlor) to help her figure out exactly what it is. From there on they compose a team of scientists to fight the out of control sea creatures, they are like 13 year old hoodrats that someone put in a room full of old men, alcohol, and crack. Anyways the team is made up of Seiji Shimada (Vic Chao) who ends up falling in love with Emma and banging her in a broom closet, Allan (Lorenzo Lamas), and a few other random navy type individuals.
Alright so 10 minutes of the movie is Debbie Gibson, an old guy, and an Asian guy pouring blue liquid into a test tube and carrying it around in every scene. When they should be finding some type of information to capture the giant sea creatures that are wreaking havok at that very second. Then up next comes the cheesiest sex scene. What the hell kind of scientists just do the deed in the middle of a world crisis, so that's why no one gets anything done around here! Go figure! The American government officials are all banging eachothers brains out in broom closets, that's why we're trapped in a recession. Anyways after Emma gets her brains fucked out she realizes that a chemical attraction is just what those scientists need. So they release some type of hormone juice to attract the creatures to eachother, but instead of banging they fight to the death. In what is one of the worst on screen CGI creature final battles EVER! The octopus squeezes the shark and the shark takes a bite out of the octopus, but before the octopus falls to the sea floor it kills the shark. I think I would have preferred to watch them have awkward interspieces sex..yeah I said that. Then Emma and her Asian live happily ever after doing probably even more boring stuff.

There is way to many scenery shots for it's own good, not to mention the location titles as well. It's ridiculous every scene we get another location title...well how many fucking places can this movie actually take place in, it's not that complicated of a story. It gets to the point where your falling asleep because its not moving fast enough. This isn't a nature documentary, so stop dragging us along at such a pace! They even give us location titles when the previous scene was in the same location, what the fuck?!. Was that really appropriate? As the audience of your movie, are you calling us stupid? Yes, I can identify the lab that these bad actors have been pow wowwing about for the past hour. And lines like this will make you laugh hysterically, "wooo who wants sharkskin boots"? The thing that really irks me is that we don't get to see any blood and guts, which makes the film boring. Come on this is a movie with a giant shark and octopus they should be ripping people's body parts off into itty bitty pieces and chomping them up, WHAT THE FUCK? Give me a gore, or give me a great fucking story....what happened here? Oh yeah, it's a SYFY movie. What was I thinking? I saw the scene of the shark eating the plane and just HAD to watch it, haha. Before we end this review I'd just like to bring up the fact that it's funny that whales burst into pieces when washed up on shore. I remember seeing that in the Reno 911 movie first and was in a fit of hysteria, haha. So before we leave off of this great journey together, I'd like everyone to close your eyes. And I do mean after you read this...just picture a big sperm whale washing up some shore after a failed fight with a mega shark. Now I want you to imagine that same whale spontaneously combust miles into the cloudy blue sky in slow motion. Maybe even imagine a piece of bloody whale blubber(still in slow motion) bash into the side of a senior citizens unsuspecting face. The blood does the splatter effect all over that wrinkly old face of his, and he flies back through the air on impact, crashing into the side of a porta potty that someone is taking a shit in. The person emerges from the porta potty in complete disillusionment only to find this old man has been impaled by a rusty piece of coke can, yes coke can. The man who didn't have time to wipe his ass runs for help(still in slow motion) and we all cheer. Are you feeling that same euphoric relief I am? Good! Now you can carry on with your life knowing that reading this review was totally worth it.

What am I going to give this movie you ask..

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you all a little update about myself.
Well Summer is upon us, and usually what happens is I keep myself extremely occupied during it. So I'm not sure how much I'm going to be keeping up with this blog right now. I'm going to be working on movies, working, throwing parties, etc. It's going to be busy, so forgive me if I can't keep my baby updated. I have a lot of projects I'd like to get completed, so I'll be taking a little bit of time off from writing. I'll pop up reviews and news whenever I can though, I promise! Alright, oh this one was a REAL winner. What we have is a story about a group of kids who make prank calls, and somehow always dial the same psycho’s number, who stalks and kills them. This movie is so bad that even Flavor flav makes an appearance in the beginning in a vampire cape, now that is scary! And it doesn’t make any sense, there’s absolutely no point to his appearance. A good portion of the movie is a bunch of boring ass college kids talking and then partying, then the last 30 minutes is a lot of really unoriginal and lame deaths. That movie was way to long for it’s own good, clocking in at 1 hour and 39 minutes. If I wanted to see a bunch of college kids act like retards I’d rent a National Lampoon’s movie. And the killer mysteriously dresses indenitical to the killer in “Urban Legend”. I don’t know why I subjected myself to this torture. I watched this movie because I thought Bill Moseley was in it, and then I realized that that movie was “dead air”. Yeah, I really payed the price for that one.

Then there’s a fucking 20 minute scene of these two ghetto thugs fighting with the killer while a white kid hides behind a door. Seriously it keeps flashing back to the kid like every 2 seconds, it’s regoddamndiculous! Then we get to see the dumbest “twist” in horror movie history. Not to mention after the hooded killer gets stabbed like 20 he gets right back up, what the fuck? The director stars in the movie as one of the final kids, I really hate when that’s done in movies. It’s exceptional if your short on people and have to act, or you make a cameo appearance, but tacky if your doing it intentionally. This movie was a waste of time and film. I’d recommend everyone stay as far away from this pile of crap as you can. I’m cutting the review short right now, because this movie doesn’t deserve any more of my precious time. Well we all know there is TONS of fights in Buffy the vampire slayer, with masters to some with untrained vampires. Now when I look back at the show I think back to the most memorable Buffy fights. The more bizarre and hilarious Buffy fights ever, so let's take a look at what I've come up with for the best fights!

10.) Andrew Vs. The person who stole his hot pocket(Faith)(Season 7): This is not actually a psychical fight, but it's extremely amusing. Andrew marks the hot pocket box that's his so no one will eat it and what happens? Faith gets her dirty grubby hands on it and eats it, so Andrew bitches constantly about it. Following Giles around bickering about his hot pocket problem, then stands behind Faith and bitching even more. I love that guy!

9.) Buffy Vs. Darla(Season 1): I neglected Darla in the Buffy villains column, so where better place to bring her up then the best fights! This fight is different from all the other because comically Darla pulls out two hand guns and starts shooting at Buffy. Throughout Buffy we constantly see hand to hand combat and fighting with medieval type weapons. So the fact that Darla pulls out guns had me in stitches, it's like shit that's one way to get er done!

8.) Spike Vs. The Women(Various Seasons): Spike being the "I don't give a shit" vampire has a tendency to punch a lot of women in the face. It's hilarious to see him do it with such a serious attitude. It's cinematic fighting people, don't get grouchy. Spike has gotten his ass beat by several women and dished a fair amount out. It's just really comedic to watch, especially with Harmony, god I hate that character. Spike may be a ladies charmer, but damn he gets his ass beat a lot. Oh and I would just like to add that the best thing ever was when Spike beat the hell out of Faith in the last season, THE BEST!

7.) Anya Vs. Buffy(Season 6): This is a really intense fight for the viewers, because this is a fight after Anya and Buffy were just friends. But Anya takes her job back as a vengeance demon and starts killing guys again. Buffy knows what she has to do even though no one else wants to come, except Xander to stop the fight. He doesn't interfere with the badass fight scene we get to see though. Up until this point we haven't gotten a chance to see much of Anya fighting style. So we get to see how much of a badass bitch she actually is when it comes to hand to hand combat. Buffy ends up running a sword through her(She's a vengeance demon it takes more than a sword to kill her), but Anya rights the wrong and gets fired from her job before Buffy has a chance to end her life.

6.) Giles Vs. Ethan Rainn(Various Seasons): We can't forget Giles beating the dog piss out of Ethan every time he comes in contact with him, it's glorious! When we finally see Giles fight it's like "damn he's one badass motha". Ethan is Giles old friend from England who used to cause chaos with him. Well he keeps coming back to Sunnydale to make mischief, so Giles has to keep beating that ass.

5.) Buffy Vs. Adam(Season 4): This fight gets number 5 because it's pretty weird. I guess you could say it's like watching Criss Angel as a chick fighting some big doofy demon/robot/human man person with a lot of metal arm weaponry. Buffy has the Scooby gang (Willow, Giles, Xander) invoke a witch god to help her fight Adam, because he's pretty dangerous. The end result is Buffy becoming possessed by the spirit and just annihilating this guy. She turns his bullets into doves, makes a magic force field appear to protect her, and can counter control his every move. Did I mention she has orange eyes the entire time?

4.) Buffy Vs. Angel(Season 2): This is a unique and heartbreaking fight for Buffy, because it's against the only man that she's desperately in love with. Angel, her first love, goes bad after he encounters his one true moment of happiness, and of course that's sex with Buffy. He becomes he's treacherous and demonic self Angelus and begins tormenting Buffy and running evil scams in Sunnydale with Drusilla and Spike. So to save the world, Sunnydale, and herself, Buffy has to run him through with a sword and watched him get sucked away to hell through a portal.

3.)Giles Vs. Cop(Season 3): In the episode "Band candy" the candy the school kids sell when consumed by adults turns them into teens with raging hormones. Not psychically , but mentally makes them a teen again. So Giles and Buffy's mom Joyce start hanging out together and causing trouble. Giles steals a coat out of a store front window that Joyce was admiring and here comes a cop out of nowhere. Well Giles takes it upon himself to solve this problem. He kicks the crap out of the cop and takes his gun. It's a very comic scene, Giles is dressed a a greaser, and oh did I mention he bangs Buffy's mom? Haha!

2.)Oz Vs. Werewolf girl(Season 4): We can't forget any of the werewolf fights because they are some of the most ridiculous fights ever! Seeing two people in cheap Halloween werewolf costumes rolling on the floor like retards. Just the way they run is enough to send me into hysterical seizures of laughter. We get to see Seth Green's werewolf rip out the throat of the female one, and god it's ridiculous. Please watch for yourself!

1.) Xander Vs. Harmony(Season 4): Oh my god, you know I had to make it number 1! For those of you who don't know, let's recap. Xander is trolling through the graveyard when he finds Harmony burning some evidence for Spike. Xander and her have some choice words, and we think we're about to see a potentially badass fight scene. Well they have at it, and it ends up the biggest bitch slap/hair pull fight in Buffy history. It ends with them tangled together doing the "I'll quit if you do" thing.

XANDER: Bring it on, then.

(Harmony slaps him)

XANDER: Ow!

(He kicks her in the shin)

HARMONY: Ow! You sissy kicker!

(She slaps him in the arm. The most girly fight ever on BTVS ensues. They slap at each other and circle each other in a menacing manner. More slapping without contact. They end up tangled up pulling each others hair.)

XANDER: Get away! Aah! Cut it out!

HARMONY: Ow, I'm so gonna bite you!

XANDER: Ow... Ok, stop, stop! We should stop, ok?

HARMONY: Ok, I will if you will.

XANDER: On the count of 3...

XANDER: Uh-huh. Uh-huh. 1...2...3!

HARMONY: Right, ok.

XANDER: Harmony, it's been great catching up. Really, I'm just gonna pick up the tattered shreds of my dignity and go home...

Alright we have a lot to talk about in this article, needless to say I'm very excited about these!

Let's start with Dead Rising 2: Case zero For those of you addicted to zombie apocalypse games, this is for you. Check out the synopsis, "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero takes place a few years after the original, with the zombie infestation that originated in Santa Cabeza now spread all over the United States. This time out you’re Chuck Greene, former national motocross champion who finds himself caught in the middle of the zombie apocalypse in Fortune City". Alright well it's caught my attention, so let's check out the trailer below!
The release date is slated for August 31st

Donkey Kong Country Returns

Saw 2 Flesh And Blood(pretty original title huh?)

Well as you know, I've already posted the trailer for Saw 2 when I heard news about it. Now they have released a lot of promising stills from the game. And again the synopsis for Saw 2 goes a little like this, Detective Tapp's son goes on to investigate his father death, leading him to another abandoned warehouse where he will be Jigsaw's next target. He will have to play the game to survive Jigsaw and protect himself against the other people in the place that are gunning to do anything to live.
The release date is set for September 7th.

I recently reported about [REC] 2, well I guess that's not all that Paco Plaza and Jaume Balagauero have up their sleeves. Since the first two [REC] movies have been such a success, they are making two more! The second and third [REC]'s are entitled "Genesis" and "Apocalypse". The [REC] movies are about the zombie apocalypse starting in an apartment building then surrounded and quarantined by firemen/government officials, etc. And of course all hell breaks loose.

Resident Evil Afterlife Updates!

I don't know about you, but I'm a fan of the Resident Evil movies, and I'm pretty stoked about Afterlife! I'm also a huge Milla Jovovich fan, that woman is amazing! Resident Evil Afterlife is going to be released in 3-D, they seem to be doing that a lot lately. I don't even enjoy 3-D that much, it hurts the eyes, and who would want to watch every freakin' movie in 3-D. It's probably some type of government brainwashing technique, haha. Okay let's get back on subject. Resident Evil afterlife focuses on Alice (Milla Jovovich) as she is one of the only survivors of the zombie apocalypse and trying to salvage and save the remaining humans, which are very little. There's new characters,more fights, more blood and gore, and it looks fucking immaculate! The movie is written and directed the by first resident evil's Paul W.S. Anderson. Also starring along side Milla are Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, Sienna Guillory, and Shawn Roberts. The current release date we're looking at is Septemeber 10, 2010! I'll let you guys know if anything changes.

Good Guys Gone Bad-Buffy Month

Buffy: Good Guys Gone Bad

Here we will talk about the members of the Scooby gang gone nutty and out for blood. Why? Pure evil or sorrow brought on by horrible accidents. We all have our bad days, but not this bad. Living on a Hellmouth anyone can get sucked into the craziness that they fight everyday, and in more then once instance, they do.So let's take a look at Buffy and her friends gone rogue.

Buffy: Now we definitely didn't expect Buffy to go practically Annie Wilkes on us, but she did in season 6. A flabby fish looking creature that the trio raises sticks Buffy with it's stinger and a type of poison that makes her hallucinate another world in her head is injected into her. In her head she's with her mother and father in a mental institution and they are trying to cure her "mental illness", as they say. Anyways she's so depressed from being yanked out of heaven by her friends that she starts to believe the hallucinations. Knowing she'll be with her mother and father in a "happy" place completely disturbs and distorts her perspective on reality. She thinks that she needs to kill her friends to erase them as fake memories and join her parents in a better place. So what does she do you ask? Well she beats her friends up and ties them all up in the basement, and releases the fish creature on them. A fight ensues until Buffy comes to the realization that she is home.She actually refuses to sit down until Willow extracts the cure from the poison in the creatures stingers.
Also in season 4 Buffy's body is taken over after a confrontation with Faith using a magical gadget, and their souls are switched into eachothers bodies. Mistaking Buffy for Faith the watchers council tries to kidnap her to transport to England for a court hearing, which almost gets her killed. All the while Faith is parading around in Buffy's body being a whore and causing mischief. If it's one thing you do you do not steal Buffy's body!

Willow: Now as I've previously posted, we have a couple different versions of Willow going rogue. The first one barely counts because it's her from an alternate reality, what would have happened if Buffy wouldn't have come to Sunnydale. She's quite a foxy, pleather wearing, seductress Willow vampire. In the alternate reality her and Xander end up eating Cordelia in a very disturbing scene where they both suck on her neck. Eeek! The second evil Willow is the extremely powerful demonic witch Willow. After Warren shoots Buffy and Willow's lover/friend Tara through an upstairs window, Willow loses it completely. She calls on the dark forces to resurrect Tara, but they refuse because she died a natural death. So what does Willow do? She seeks bloody, and I do mean BLOODY revenge. She literally tears the skin off of Warren(the asshole who shoots Buffy and Tara), and goes on a rampage of destruction. It ends when she attempts to end the world, and Xander breaks her down.

Xander: Xander becomes vampire Xander in an alternate reality that Cordelia creates by making a wish to a vengeance demon(Anyanka, oh the irony). Anyways him and Willow are dating as vampire and our vicious killing machines. Vamp Willow is more of a fan of torturing while Xander just chooses to eat his victims. I have to say though, he doesn't make a menacing vampire at all. He's just to adorable.

Anya: I know Anya was bad to begin with, as she was a vengeance demon, but she becomes good for almost all the seasons. Then Xander leaves her at the altar on their wedding day, and what left to do then go back to her old ways again. Granted this time she has stronger emotions for the devious things that she does. For instance she feels really bad after granting a wish that a monstrous spider eats the heart out of some girls ex boyfriend and his cruel friends. Buffy goes after her to kill her, but all ends good after Anya makes everything right again, and loses her job as a vengeance demon of course.

Oz: We all know Oz is a good guy, he's Willows boyfriend for awhile and very quiet and collected. But when the full moon rises he is not in control of himself. After he wolfs out he could kill anyone, that is why he locks himself in a cage to keep everyone around him safe. There's more than one incident where Oz escapes his little cell and runs amok causing some wolf chaos. Most of the time it's not him that actually hurts anyone, so what was he doing? Haha, quite a good question. Anyways he wolfs out for the last time on Tara when he finds out that she's Willow's new love interest, and ends up leaving for good after that season, which sucks.

Giles: Now Giles is never really a "bad" guy, but he does do some foolish things. Such as, injecting Buffy with a serum that weakens and almost gets her killed more then once. He does this because it's a slayer endurance "test" supposedly given to all the slayers to prove something or other. Anyways Buffy gets very cross with him after he pulls that one. And secondly in the episode "band candy" when Giles reverts back to his old teenage ways, he causes some hilarious damage. He bangs Buffy's mom, trashes stuff, steals, and then beats up a cop and takes his gun. He's a total badass in it, haha.

Anyways that's it for my good guys gone bad edition for Buffy month. Anyone have anything to add? Any other characters gone bad that you really enjoyed?

Here is my little bits of movie information section. I've been hearing a lot of news about different projects and I want to just get them posted all at one time. So welcome to the world gore gore gabbing my friends! There are a few projects that I really would like share with everyone if you haven't heard of them, because I'm excited.

Director and amazing man, Joe Lynch
You all know about Joe Lynch's new Role play slaughter movie by the name of knights of badassdom because I never shut up about it, well we have some fresh news about it. They have announced some new cast members on the project. Steve Zahn(A perfect gewtaway, Joy Ride), Comedian Danny Pudi(community), Peter Dinklage(Death at a funeral,Elf), and Ryan Kwanten(True Blood,Dead Silence) are all signed on to get badass! For those of who don't remember what this movie is about, let's give you a quick synopsis. A group of kids are live action role players(you know dress up like medieval warriors and play fight battles for kingdoms and such) that end up casting a spell from a book he bought on ebay, which makes things a tad bit real as he releases evil monsters in the forest. Of course the insanity begins! To sum it up Joe refers to it as a "Heavy metal horror adventure".

Pornstar Belladonna

I thought this was some cool news because Michelle Sinclair(Belladonna) the porn star will be making her movie debut in the horror/thriller "Stripped". Even better she will be acting alongside Tiffany Shepis(one of my personal favorite scream queens). Written and directed by John Wildman the story revolves around two brothers and a friend that go out to celebrate one of the guys birthday, but all ends in a horrific bloodbath when they end up in a house filled to the brim with psychotic women. Definitely sounds quite appealing, and sexy! There's nothing I love more then cooky women who enjoy mindlessly butchering people.

Final Destination 5 gets a director, but why?
So they are releasing Final Destination 5 in 3-D, who would have figured? And it will be directed by Steven Quale(Second unit director for Avatar and Titanic). The movie will be released into theaters August 26th, 2011. Up until FD 3, I didn't have a problem with the movies, but the most recent one "The final destination" made me want to shove burning hot oiled fries into my eyeballs and wiggle them around a little. You can't even refer to that one as a "guilty pleasure" movie, because it was just so fucking bad. Anyways maybe they will surprisingly do something different with number 5, only time will tell. I'll let you know as the news comes.

And from Writer/Director Tim Sullivan comes 2001 Maniacs: Field of screams. The movie features amazing horror actors such a Bill Moseley, Lin Shaye, and Christa Campbell. This looks to be a grindhouse gorefest with gorgeous women and ridiculously awesome antics! I can tell you I'm extremely excited to see it! Check out the trailer below.

Rec 2 Trailer and More

Alright who hasn't seen the Spanish hit zombie film Rec? Well the same minds who brought you Rec have made a sequel Rec 2. And we all know that Quarantine was the American remake of Rec, which turned out to be a big waste of time. It's basically the same thing, shaky camera in a dark building with a bunch of commando people shooting wiggly bloody zombies. I just really can't stand the hand held recorded movies. Ooohh your video taping a crisis and/or apocalypse and can't hold fucking still, your going to make me puke! I'm pretty sick of a bunch of zombie people running around on their hands and knees on ceilings. I enjoyed it when I saw it in the Exorcist 3. No bad mouthing the movie, just not a fan of the way it's filmed. I'm not running out of my way to see this movie, but if I ever have free time I might watch it. Doesn't look new or exciting, just the same. Thought I'd post some info for you hardcore zombie fans out there! Anyways the movies is directed by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, the same two men who directed the first Rec as well.

MORTAL KOMBAT REMAKE!

So I'm reading Mr Chuck Conry's(www.zombiesdontrun.net) blog and what info do I find? There's a Mortal Kombat remake coming out!
I'm going to admit that I can't control my curiosity, I fucking love Mortal Kombat! Like with a deep, unhealthy, murderous passion! I grew up playing these games and I get a little bonkers when something new comes out. I've already nitpicked the new trailer to death, because I do dislike a lot of stuff in it. The thing is I'm going to see this movie anyways when it comes out in theaters. I can't fucking wait! Sindel better be in it, or I'll start throwing items at the screen and come back and do an angry Aleata Illusion review. I enjoyed the first 2 mortal kombat movies, but I have a feeling I'm going to go hard on this one. They are taking a realistic approach and adding more of the characters backgrounds to it and I don't know how much I'm going to dig that. I don't care about how Reptile got a skin condition, I want to see him beat the dick out of people!

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Sequel

Has anyone ever wondered why they didn't make a Buffy 2, but with all the television show characters? It still boggles my mind that they never did it, because you know that it would have been a hit with us Buffyites. The movie could have picked up where the television show left off, and could have brought back some familiar characters. I've been thinking more in depth about it in my head lately like: what would happen, would there be any new characters, how would Buffy be in mortal danger this time around, would any old characters be resurrected, and who would die? I've already well established that fact that I would definitely want the television show characters to be in it, and it would have to be a sequel or remake. A prequel wouldn't work with those characters very well. Oh and one more thing THERE WOULD BE NO DAWN! God I despise that spoiled, annoying little twit! I really wanted her to just get eaten by a big hairy blob demon, and shat out, and then flushed away forever into a sewer of doom! Oh and Faith would die! Muahahaha!

Alright I was searching on youtube and I came across this news clip about a remake of Buffy the vampire slayer, it was posted June 7, 2009. So check it out below:

Supposedly it will be a remake and there will be possibly a couple other Buffy movies after that one is made..wait, what? So they're saying they are doing this because of the money that was made from the Twilight craze? Don't get me wrong, I'm ALL for a Buffy remake. But then they say it... None of the characters or actors from the television show will be used in it. NO, damnit! This will ruin my hopes and dreams if it happens! When I think of another Buffy movie, I was really praying(Well maybe not praying) that they would use all the television show characters, just with a new story and such. I was hoping they would continue with those characters before the actors get old and die(I know that sounds macabre)! When will they get a chance to do something like that? Come on Joss Whedon, here my scream for a Buffy movie with the show characters!

Okay let's get back on track, so I go to my number 1 movie information source www.imdb.com and search for Buffy. A lot of stuff came up. but one thing in particular that caught my eye. According to IMDB a Buffy movie will be released in 2012, that's all the information that was released about it. So I'm not mad about anything yet, because nothing is confirmed as of right now. Until it does I will be waiting and when I figure it out I will let you guys know first thing!

So what would everyone picture a new Buffy movie to be like? Any characters do you think should be brought back into the mix? What about story lines, should it take place in Sunnydale, or should it start off fresh? Let's here it!

Buffy Villains

Buffy Villains:
Status: Buffy week

Okay today we are dipping into past of all the Buffy the vampire slayer villains. Now the really odd thing about the Buffy villains is that most of them seem fun and lovable. I always end up siding with the evil characters, but there's something that still makes them just as human and down to earth as Buffy. Now I'm not going to list EVERY single villain because that would take centuries, but here are some of the biggest and baddest and craziest looking of them all.

Spike- Spike is the blonde punk rock "big bad" vampire of several seasons of Buffy. He actually makes it up to the end and becomes more good than anything. I'm guessing Joss kept him in the show so long because everyone loved him. He's evil but at the same time completely lovable(He's such a hopeless romantic and always whining about his ex Drusilla). He's actually my favorite character in the entire show. What can I say? He's a fucking badass! Around season 5 he ends up falling in love with Buffy and tries to stake Drusilla to prove his love. Regardless of who he's in love with he's such a funny character and when he's evil I enjoy him even more. James Marsters is such a spectacular and beautiful actor.

Drusilla- The psychic psycho seductress vampire Drusilla enters Season 2 alongside Spike and shows no mercy. She is a soft spoken, porcelain doll obsessed seemingly calm vampire. She's sick at the beginning, but when she finally regains her strength we see a different and much more malicious vampire. In one episode Angel stops her from eating a little boy. She's also had a disturbing past with Angel, he tortured her and killed everyone around her that she loved before changing her into a vampire, which explains where all the mental problems came from. Seriously she acts loopy as fuck in every episode she's in, it's quite funny to watch. She appears in several episodes of Buffy and the spin off show Angel.

Mayor Wilkins- You find the mayor as the main villain in season three. He’s actually a pretty funny guy, good humored, cheerful, polite, and a total freak about cleanliness. A lot of the scenes he’s in I’ll just be laughing my balls off. He later on hires Faith and becomes like a father figure to her. He dresses like a car salesman and becomes immortal up until his ascension day where he transforms into a giant snake. Is it just me or does anyone else notice that there's like three giant snakes in each season of Buffy, haha. Anyways he snakes out and eats the principal, which I was totally digging because he was such an asshole to Buffy. We get to watch his head get cut in half and him eat a bunch of giant spiders(Ugh). He’s definitely one of the funniest and most interesting villains. Oh and did I mention he loves to play golf?!.

The Master- This is the head vampire guy, he actually killed Buffy in season 1. He’s a very old and ugly vampire. He looks identical to the cave dwelling creatures in “The Descent”. Except the guy has a vagina mouth, it's hard to look at him when he talks...and when he has blood on his mouth, okay you get my point. Then we have the fact that this guy dresses in some bondage type clothes and he just looks old and wrinkly. He reminds me of some old pervert, so as you can tell, I'm not much of a fan of his. It also doesn't help that he killed Buffy, shame on you masta!

Angelis- Oh when Angel loses his soul, this is his schizophrenic bad self. He becomes a completely insane murderous beast and attempts to torture and then destroy everything in his path. Now what causes him to lose his soul is another thing. He is cursed so that even if he gets one second of true happiness POOF there goes his soul. He just so happens to lose it after him and Buffy have sex, Buffy then on in season 2 has to kill him, but before he dies Willows spell turns him good again. Talk about shafted, huh? We think he emerges in season 4 where Faith tries to steal him from Buffy, but he's actually just acting to trick her, and it causes some major problems for Angel and Buffy.

Dark Willow- Okay there are two different evil Willows and we don't want to get them mixed up do we? Alright the first one we saw in season 3, and that was vampire Willow. A sadistic vampire vixen that enjoys torturing people and feeding off their fear and well, blood. It's really fun to see vampire Willow because she arrives at such a perfect time and it's hilarious to watch her beat the crap out of the dumb, mean jock, Percy. Percy was using Willow to do his homework so he could graduate and vampire Willow shows him what's up, so after that incident he never messes with Willow again, and even does his school work. Then we have the skillful, almighty witch, dark Willow in season 6. After Tara, Willows lover is shot she loses every bit of humanity to get revenge. She is completely consumed by the dark arts and is therefore changed into dark Willow. After she gets revenge, she even tries to annihilate the world. It's extremely fun to watch little innocent Willow just wreaking havok on shit. But Xander comes to save the day, confessing his love for Willow, so she will come back.

Faith- Yes, we're back to Faith again, because she was one of the more popular villains and kept coming back when she should have been DEAD. Where to begin with her, oh yeah she tries to kill every person in the Scooby gang, but fails miserably because she's a dumb slut. She joined Mayor Wilkins for his ascension and tried to help him eat all the kids at graduation, but ends up being put in a coma before that happens. She just keeps coming back and failing, I don't even know why she tried. Anyways the white trash princess comes out of nowhere in season 3 because she is being pursued by vampires and thinks she can use Buffy to help her. Then she wears out her welcome in Sunnydale and constantly causes problems for the scooby gang.

Adam- Adam was constructed by Professor Walsh from pieces of demons, human, and metal in season 4. In other words he looked like a awkward ass frankenstein/terminator baby, a really big and mean one. Adam wanted to learn about himself and Riley(he thought they were like brothers) and wanted to turn everyone into half demon/half human zombies. He was created as a super marine to kill all opposing enemies, but obviously something went wrong. So Adam goes homicidal, but while planning his war on humanity he hides out in a cave he discovered in Sunnydale. The thing about Adam is, he was also really smart and destructive. Professor Walsh made several disks, which Adam could insert into his chest to know everything. Professor Walsh should actually be included as a villain with Adam because she created him and tried to kill Buffy as well. The only thing he found beautiful was killing people and playing with their guts. Buffy actually has to have her friends invoke some kind of strong spirit to possess her to take Adam down, which works delightfully.

Glory- Glory is a very special villain from season 5 because she's not just your normal annoying monster. Glory is actually a god, a very pretty god who dresses in cute clothes. She also is a very odd creature because she shares her body with her brother Ben. It makes for some comedic scenes when Glory changes into Ben and he's wearing Glory's short red dress. Ben is somewhat muscular and tallish so it makes for some funny stuff. I can relate to Glory she's not to fond of people, and loves shoe shopping, my kinda girl. I seriously enjoyed myself so much waiting to see what she would be wearing next. Glory also has several scabby, big-nose, short-ish minions who do her bidding. Since she's a god she has no feelings and has to suck people's brains out to survive. She pushes her fingers into people's heads and sucks brains out through her fingers, then regains all her energy. But when she hasn't had anything to eat, she gets weak and tires out, hence the minions collect someone for her to consume. Buffy smashes her various times with a trolls hammer and then she transforms into Ben and Giles suffocates him, it's pretty cool.

Caleb- Caleb is a deranged serial killer priest who hunts down and slaughters potential slayers. He's extremely powerful and even pokes out Xanders eye in season 7, which really upsets me! Poor Xander he is always getting fucked over in like every single episode, haha. Anyways I have to bring up that Caleb is played by Nathan Fillion, hell yeah! Anyways one thing I think of when I see priests is pedophile, so therefore he's pretty creepy.

The Gentlemen- The gentlemen only show up in one episode, but in other episodes we do see some creatures that look similar to them. We are introduced to these demented, smiling, floating doctors in the episode "Hush" of season 4. They basically look like skeletons(except with a thin layer of white flesh stretched across their being) in nicely ironed suits, they also have metal teeth(They're mouths are stuck in huge smiles). These strange creatures were actually born from fairy tales that's why it takes the gang so long to figure out how to stop them. First they take away everyone's voices and then they float around in the middle of the night and cut out certain people's hearts, which they keep in jars. They need a total of 7 hearts to do what they do, but their heads end up exploding after Buffy gets her voice back and screams her face off(Not literally). They also have a group of minions that do their dirty work. They are these wild creatures that run around all crazy like in straight jackets, you just have to watch the episode yourself.

Warren, Johnathan, And Andrew(The Trio)
These three guys have been in other seasons of Buffy randomly, but in season 6 is where they really get together and decide it's time to take over Sunnydale. There's one thing to say about these three goofy guys, they never seem to learn their lesson! These boys are Dungeon and Dragon geeks gone bad, but not really bad. Warren made a sexbot girl that got loose among college kids and threw Spike threw a window and afterwards tried to choke to death his real girlfriend, Jonathan cast a strong spell over Sunnydale that made him a celebrity and everyone puppets in his little play until Buffy caught on, and Andrew decided to unleash demon flying monkeys upon Sunnydale high during a play. You think they are bad when they are separated, just wait till you see these guys in action together, they are fucking hilarious. They raise a demon to rob a bank for them then after that they decide it's time to find out Buffy's weaknesses for when she comes after them. With their stolen money they buy a ton of high tech equipment to monitor public places and put bugs on people. They follow Buffy around in their black rape van and stalk her, it's fantastic. They become as Buffy says "a pain in her butt" for the rest of the season 6.

So give me some insight, even if they are not on the list, who's everyone's favorite Buffy Villain?

The first board game we are going to talk about is the official Buffy board game. In this game you can play with 2-5 of your friends, the playing time is pinned at around 90 minutes and the age of the players is 12 and up. You play as one of the scooby gang and it's up to you to save Sunnydale from the vampire master, the mayor, Adam, and many other villains trying to destroy the town and world. Whoever can beat evil to death first wins! Comes with game board, pewter Buffy icon, Phases Chart centerpiece, 5 Good Player & 13 Evil Player pawns and stands, 84 Evil, Weapon, Research, Help & Artifact cards, 4 Villain tiles, 4 Good Player cardholders, 1 Evil card stand, 10 dice, 10 life counters.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer "Conversations With Dead People" Ouija Board

The second game they came out with is actually a Buffy the vampire slayer Ouija board. It's a very cool looking board and planchette. It follows the same rules as any normal ouija board, it just has a unique look. If you don't know how to use a ouija board listen up! Okay you and however many of your friends can fit around the board do so, you all place two of your pointy fingers on the planchette (the small piece on the board you move around), then you begin asking questions to the spirit world. Whether you do it in a graveyard, haunted house, or the safety of your own room you may get results. Your supposed to start out moving it a bit slowly and then letting the ghost at hand take it to spell stuff out. Now I can say I've never gotten good results on one of these things, I actually have a awesome glow in the dark ouija board. But hey on a dark stormy night, alone at home, they are extremely fun to dick around with. And especially to scare your friends with.

10 Good Reasons Faith Should DIE!

Alright first off I'm not making a life threats against Eliza Dushku, this is strictly about the character Faith she plays in Buffy the vampire slayer. Haha needless to say, I don't like Eliza Dushku either. So let me explain to you why I absolutely despise this terrible character.

10.) She's dirty white trash, and no one likes that..well except other white trash..and we don't need anymore.

9.) She's kills a man (because she's a complete moron.A slayer that can't tell the difference between a man and a vampire is pretty worthless) and then blames it on Buffy. But she's such a bad liar that no one even believes her...that's bad.

8.) She wasn't born evil, but she joined the evil side in a rebellious manner because "everyone forgot about her" and "Buffy is the one always being thanked". Oh wahhh, she pry cried herself to sleep every night too. Also She is a sympathy whore. She's constantly trying to get attention from the little schemes she pulls.

7.) She makes me really like Willow, and I hate Willow's old lady face. But Willow and I both share the same hatred of Faith. I love the episode in season 4 where Willow gets her shot in and hits Faith with her book bag.

6.) She chokes out Xander and tries to kill him. After Xander came to her to help her and support her through the bad situation that was going on. What a cunt!

5.) She sluts up all over Angel, Buffy's man. Because she is in fact, a dirty whore. Before that she pretended to be Buffy's friend only to back stab her and try to steal Angel. Only for the sole purpose of her jealously towards Buffy. Even though Buffy is the one who is constantly there for her, saves her life, and still believes that she can convert her completely to the good side.

4.) She murders innocent people, demons, and vampires. She's always murdering someone innocent, why should she be able to be forgiven for that and come back good? Not to mention she also tries to murder Angel by poisoning him, which almost leads to the death of Buffy, because to save him he has to drink a slayers blood.

3.) She dresses like a blind prostitute, and not to mention she looks horrendous with that dark red lipstick on.

2.) She put Buffy in a number of life threatening situations. She pretty much said "if you don't come help me kills these vampires I might die". So Buffy feeling guilty would follow her to make sure everything went okay.

1.) She's messed with Buffy, you don't mess with Buffy!

I asked my fellow Buffy lover Johnny Horror if he would help out this week and contribute a post, and that he did. So here are some of his favorite Buffy quotes from the show!

GoreGore Dancer reviews have asked me,[Rated R] JohnnyHorror to be a part of Buffy The Vampire Slayer week. I contributed some fun and sharply entertaining quotes that I got the biggest kick out of when I watched this series. Hope some of these bring back some fun memories you had when you first saw the show. Someday, we'll always look back into this shows past, laugh nervously, and never change the subject because this show pre-ejaculates it's steamy goodness unlike any other show.

BUFFY : One of the most memorable quotes from Buffy herself was from season 3 in the episode called Earshot, which featured Buffy's high octane voice asking a question: you had sex with Giles? YOU HAD SEX WITH GILES!? Joyce replied with: it was the candy, we were teenagers! Buffy quickly replied: On the hood of the police car?!

I found that to be extremely funny, personally it was the character emotions that brought out the true art in that segment. Therefore Buffy's quote to Joyce is by far my favorite.

The game is out for PS2 and Xbox, so I need to buy one of those systems because my husband only has a PS3. This game looks really freakin' fun! It was a bummer to hear about Dennis Hopper passing away when I woke up today. I'm not going to be one of those annoying people who talk about how great of a person he was, how would you know? Really? But I will say this, the man was a great actor and played in a lot of movies that I loved. Including True Romance, The Texas chainsaw Massacre 2,and Super Mario bros. Yes, Super Mario bros! And it's a shame that we won't get to see him do what he does best anymore.

I love the first Lost boys movie, who doesn't? They made a craptacular sequel to it called Lost boys: The Tribe and now they just released a trailer for the third enstallment entitled Lost boys: The Thirst. All three films starring Corey Feldman as Edgar Frog and Jamison Newlander as Alan Frog the vampire hunter brothers.

Jonah Hex Trailer

Okay, I've been really catching up on my movie information this week because I've been sick as hell. But I've been finding a lot of really great trailers of movies that I can't wait to see, so I thought I would share them with you.
For those of you who don't know Jonah Hex is based on a comic book by the same name. The movie stars Josh Brolin as Jonah and Megan Fox as his prostitute lover. It's directed by Jimmy Hayward and will be released June 18,2010.
To make it brief the story is about a bounty hunter named Jonah who gets an offer he can't refuse when he is asked to hunt down Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich) his worst enemy. Quentin is creating an army in order to fight any man that tries to arrest him. So all hell breaks loose! I would also like to mention that Josh Brolin looks like a straight up BADASS!
Yay! It sounds really fun and the trailer is amazing!

The Last Exorcism News!

So Eli Roth has produced a fantastic movie by the name of "The last exorcism". I've been excited about this movie since I first heard the news about it happening. I definitely trust Eli Roth's judgement, so I'm hoping for a winner! The Last Exorcism will be released August 27, 2010! This movie is directed by Daniel Stamm, whose only previously directed two other films, "A necessary death" and "Off Hollywood and vine". I'm very curious to see how he handles the film. The synopsis of the film is this: a Minister Marcus Cotton(Patrick Fabian) about to hit retirement decides to do one last exorcism on a young girl(Ashley Bell). He allows a documentary crew to come along and film his exploits when everything apparently goes extremely bad. So the trailer is released and so far, so good.

Alright so as much as I despise the Saw franchise, the game is fun. You get to play as detective David Tapp(Danny Glovers character from the first Saw movie) and roam about an abandoned and well rigged with traps mental institution. You wake up in Jigsaws signature reverse bear trap head gear and have to escape before time runs out and your brains are splattered all over the room. Then you have to maneuver through the hospital halls and rooms finding clues, tools, tapes,messages and cures to survive the endless amount of tasks you have to complete. But you have to be extremely careful as you venture because Jigsaw has set countless traps everywhere. From wire/shotgun traps to poison filled rooms you have to keep a sharp eye out. Not only for the traps, but there are other victims held hostage in the hospital who will do ANYTHING to survive. These people can be equipped with weapons such as nail studded baseball bats, pipes, syringes, scissors, lamps, molotove cocktails, and so on. The fun is not only for them , you can acquire all these weapons as well, they are strewn through the hospital. Some weapons are in locked cases that you have to play games to reach, others lay out open on the floor. Your main objective of the game is to save 6 people's lives who are related to the Jigsaw case that Detective Tapp was working on, and to catch Jigsaw once and for all. So it's exploring, finding clues, killing people, then you come to a main person rescue mission and repeat. It may be repetitive, but it's guilty pleasure fun. Anyways you meet several familiar characters from the first Saw movie including Detective Tapp, Amanda, Steven Sing (Tapp's partner..yeah the Asian guy from the movie), and of course Jigsaw..oh and Billy the little doll guy who rides the bike. A new yet simple type of story line is played out here. It's basically detective Tapp has to save all the people who have wronged him involved with the Jigsaw case including Sing's wife Melissa(Who's a bitch and neglected her son), Amanda (The first survivor of Jigsaw), Oswald (A newspaper writer who bad mouthed Tapp), Jeff (the second Jigsaw survivor who tried to commit suicide afterwards), Jennings (Tapps corrupt partner who killed an innocent person), and Obi (Some crazy fuck who wanted to be "tested" by Jigsaw).
A neat fun fact about the game is that Tobin Bell the actor who plays Jigsaw has lended his voice to the game as Jigsaw. Also Leigh Whannell and James Wan were also writers for the game along with David Cohen. As you know Leigh Whannel wrote the first saw movie and starred in it as the trapped Adam. I would also like to mention that I have a little crush on him, haha. And James Wan came up with the story and directed the first Saw, so you get a little comfort knowing they were involved in the creation of the game.

One thing I absolutely went crazy about was the names of some of the characters. Check it out...wait for it..wait for it...Oswald Mcgullicuty..and one more time...Jennings Foster, HAHAHAHA! I want to get some pets and name them after these people, it's so fucking ridiculous. I spent a good chunk of my time laughing about these peoples names. Everytime a case file showed up or it was time to save the person I would just lose control. Aside from their oddball character name choices the game had a lot of other hilarious things to it. The fact that you could stab people with hypodermic needles really tickled me. I was really excited about the fact that I was about to stab someone in the neck with some type of super AIDS, you don't get to do that everyday. The hidden messages with lock combinations and such are fun as hell to find. With some you have to close the bathroom stall doors then look in the mirror and match up the pieces, very clever indeed. This is just a game that you shouldn't blink while playing, there's so much hidden stuff. Not to mention Detective Tapp is barefoot and there's glass randomly scattered on the floor. There are also televisions throughout the mental hospital that you can watch stuff on and find clues on. Oh and did I mention that Jigsaw has told every single person in that asylum that it's Tapp's fault they are there and he has a key that they need? Another funny thing is is that you can watch people kill eachother and die in traps while your running around aimlessly. It's also a blast to rewire traps so that other people will fall victim to them. You can be sneaky like a ninja and hide while someone walks into your shotgun trap and gets their head blown off. It's very enjoyable that the game has lot's of blood. You usually get a heads up before attackers charge your way as well, so that's a bit nifty. I really got attached to the nail studded baseball bat though, no one had a chance. Haha. You will also find homages to the Saw movies, for instance the second Saw where Amanda gets thrown in that pit of AIDS syringes. Well you have to dig in toilets full of drug addict ridden needles to find keys at certain points. Call me crazy, but you just can't cure AIDS. Are we going to find out that Jigsaw was an underground government scientist and he just happens to have the fucking cure for AIDS? Yeah, just wait till Saw 15.3! Shit, maybe I'll start writing the Saw movies.

There are a few things I really didn't like about the game. The poisonous gas rooms for one, once you get trapped in them you have to find the valves in the foggy ass room followed by pipe jigsaw puzzle. I hate the pipe puzzles they are difficult and just not fun to do, I cheated a little and had Ian do them for me. As I said before the game is a bit repetitive. A lot of the hallways, rooms, and objects around all look for the most part identical. You also find yourself using the same tools and weapons, which are neat, but none the less repetitive. I wish they could have thrown more interesting things my way. Another thing I had difficulty with was crossing the little wooden planks, god I hated those things. You have to balance perfectly with your controller to make it across safely, or else you'll fall a floor down or into some razor wire. Also you have to fight manbearpig bitch towards the end of the game and damnit did I want to rape that fucker! He was a bit of a bitch to kill, but you end up electrocuting him outside. All in all the game is not hard at all except for a few of the tasks. The graphics are good, the sound effects nicely done, and the story line was typical but okay. Throughout the game it gives you play by play instructions of what you need to do, so you don't get confused at all. It's the type of game you'll want to turn out the lights and play alone, it matches so well with the dark creepy asylum. So if you want to indulge in some mindless bloody mania, this is your game! As far as I know they have the game out for the XBox360 and PS3. If you have gamefly it's definitely worth renting to play if you have nothing better to do.

I've been gnawing off my fingers waiting to see this movie and finally did. I'm not disappointed at all! First off Trent Fucking Haaga wrote the script!! Trent is the man, and I've been a fan of his for awhile. When I heard he was writing this I was absolutely 110% on board. Also I noticed that Noah Segan was in it and I had recently watched him in Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever. He was such a lovable character, and I'd have to say he's become one of my favorite new horror actors. Look at that cute face, I can't help but love him! Not only is he adorable but he fucking rocks shit in this movie because he plays such a scary character. Going from good guy to evil villain really messed with my head. But that's what makes him so good, he shocked me. Then we have an actor that I've never heard of until this movie Shiloh Fernandez with a striking resemblance to Michael Pitt he broke out with a good impression. Now I heard this movie get bad mouthed by some people. Psycho nazi feminists, it's annoying. Especially horror writers that bitch and make a big deal about cinematic rape, yet cheer for cinematic murder. Yeah, cause your not hypocritical at all. They are movies people, chill. So if your one of those people you can stop reading now and go shave your armpits or legs or anything else along those lines. I can't help myself it makes me mad when people downgrade a good movie over something so stupid. You know what I LOVE THIS FUCKING MOVIE! I'm going to tell you know out of 99.8% of the movies I watch, I predict the ending. Watching this and approaching the ending I had NO clue what to expect. I became swallowed by the movie and just had to watch nervously to wait and see. Do you know how refreshing that was? It made me happy in the pants like whoa!

Noah Segan

Here's the deal Rickie (Shiloh Fernandez) is desperately in love with Joann (Candice Accola) to the point of being a creepy stalker, just hides in bushes and around corners starring. His best friend JT (Noah Segan) is an evil son of a bitch who tries to control him and everyone else for that matter. They are both major outcasts, but definitely cute ones. When Rickie and JT decide to skip school one day, they venture to an abandoned mental hospital to trash shit and drink (what looks like cans of mello yello might I add). Anyways like little juveniles they sneak around and find a dead girl sprawled out and tied to a bed. At closer inspection they realize that she's not dead, but undead, and JT gets a light bulb. A light bulb in his pants, oooohhhh snap! But yes he really does want to rape her into a coma, but she's a zombie, so he just rapes her repeatedly. Soon he begins to get other friends to join him in on the savage raping, Wheeler (Eric Podnar). Rickie the whole time is trying to hatch a plan to stop JT and do the right thing, which leads him to attempt to release her a couple times. JT gets more and more demented as the movie progresses, it even gets to a point where he's sitting in a chair in the asylum room in his underwear and an open robe. I was in a fit of laughter at that scene, because he's in the shadows like a scene from the godfather or something. Another disturbing aspect of the movie is the fact that these guys are just fucking this dead girl in front of each other. Who does that shit? That's pretty borderline gay (No offense to homosexuals here). Like do these guys think it's macho to have sex in front of each other, pry not! Anyways Joann's boyfriend who's obsessed with beating up Rickie finds out about the dead girl through Rickie's burn out friend and wants to see her. Johnny (Andrew DiPalma) and his friend Dywer (Nolan Gerard Funk) kidnap the Rickie and Wheeler and take them to the hospital to find out what it's about. JT convinces Johnny to put his dick in her mouth and Dwyer to fuck her, Johnny soon realizes he's made a grave mistake when his dick gets bit off and he begins rotting from the inside out. Which follows with a scene of Johnny shitting his guts out in a school bathroom, it's awesome! Then JT and Wheeler decide they need to change to another girl so they can have some fresh meat, since Johnny fucked up dead girls face. They go out on the hunt sitting in JT's car at a gas station waiting for the perfect and sexy girl to walk by. After a really bad kidnap attempt JT settles on Rickie's love Joann. Rickie goes to the hospital to save Joann and a bloody good battle ensues.

Jenny Spain dead and alive

Like I've mentioned before playing a part of a zombie that has to stay in one place in entire movie has to be so f'n difficult. Here the dead girl (Jenny Spain) has to be tied to a table in the nude the entire movie, as a zombie of course. I can't imagine how much that would suck! Mad props to Jenny Spain, she's a kick ass zombie! Now their make up person had to be onset 24/7 because every 2 seconds someone is getting their ass kicked in the movie. Bloody noses, bruises, split lips to the extreme! Haha, I really felt bad about it because Shiloh is absolutely adorable! To see him getting beat up by these jock assholes really pissed me off, his friend on the other hand deserved it. Trent really brought a sense of reality into the story, like what would happen if a couple teenage boys stumbled upon a dead girl? It's a zombie movie that he really made work. Everything is great the acting, music, plot, the setting designs. I really can't say anything bad about this movie. This movie really introduced some great actors to me, and their performances were nothing less out outstanding! So the ending comes and I'm all crazy with anticipation and when it does it feels so sweet. Like his friends were doing it out of cruelty, but he's doing it out of love and he has her all dressed up and such. It was cute! It was really fitting and I liked the way everything came together. DeadGirl is definitely a movie that deserves some recognition. It single handedly blows away all other horror movies released in 2008.
All in all I award this movie 5/5 stars! Put that in your pipe and smoke it, or in your DVD player and watch it!

Video Game Update!

I'm going to be adding a lot of noise on video games soon, so if your interested stay tuned! Yay for me! I usually don't play video games because I get violent, but I've been playing a lot with Ian and I'm back on my old addiction. I won't just be updating horror related games, but all different kinds that interest me. So if your a gamer then I'm sure you'll appreciate my new posts.

Alright so I've beat the first Saw game and never even thought about them making a second one. But why not they've made around 100.3 movies already. Why the fuck not make a second one? Anyways I'm not bad mouthing it, I actually thought the first game was pretty fun. I'm actually currently working on a review for it, that's how I found the news of a 2nd game in the works. So expect that I'll beat and review it. I guess it's basically the same set up as the first one only surrounding detective Tapp's son Michael. I'll tell more information as it comes.

This is actually a really freaky movie. I imagine any chick that got kidnapped, paraded around half way naked in front of weirdo's, and then shipped off to some foreign country to be held as a sex slave would be traumatized for life and/or want to off themselves. But we as viewers love a good underground sex ring scandal in Japan! Maybe if we're lucky there will be a Shuttle 2:Cat Box Fury and not only will it be about Mel getting revenge for having to piss and shit in a cat box for weeks, but it will give us an indepth look at the Japanese purchasing and raping many naked women, and the naked women raping eachother. Wow, this is starting to sound like a porno...someone make this movie please?!. Anyways see how fast I get off topic, need some ADD medication to straighten me out. I really enjoy twisted movies that make you feel uncomfortable once you realize what is going on, and this is one of those movies. When you realize what this girls fate is your like "oh shit, and there's no way out"! It's that uncomfortable vibe that makes it all worth while, I love unhappy endings. The fact that this is something that could really happen to someone makes you think twice about riding public transportation again. You never know what kind of lunatics are just roaming the streets looking for fresh victims. Just look at the percentage of people who are kidnapped every year and the plane bombings that are still going on, even after people thought they cleared up all of the security problems. We live in an extremely dangerous world these days, it could happen. So anyways on to the review!

This story follows Melanie (Peyton List) and her best friend Jules (Cameron Goodman) as they come back from a spectacular vacation to Mexico and need to find a ride back from the airport. That's when they meet a Shuttle driver (Tony Curran) who's more than happy to cut them a $15 dollar deal to get them on his shuttle. They take advantage of the offer and end up meeting Andy (Cullen Douglas) A shy family man, Seth (James Snyder) and his friend Matt (Dave Power) whom are crushing on the girls that had met them in the airport catch the shuttle in time. The crew of people chat it up for awhile until Jules notices and announces that they're not going the right direction. Then minutes after a person in a fancy sports car runs them partially off the road and they acquire a flat tire. In the process of changing the tire Matt gets his fingers severed completely from his hand and they all pile in the shuttle to find a hospital, or not. The shuttle man, let's just call him Dick Mgee because I don't like looking at him, pulls a gun out and things take a turn for the worse. He begins giving everyone certain tasks mainly to salvage through luggage and find valuables, get cash at the ATM, and sends Melanie into a store to purchase certain items (which they don't explain until the end). But when they finally do you'll be like "ohhhh"! It all falls together really well in the end, they never tell you to much until then. You just know that this shuttle driver is a whackjob trying to rob and off these innocent people. When the movie switches locations and goes from the shuttle to a huge empty warehouse that's when you realize that something completely different is going on. Jules and Melanie are the two survivors left together at that point trying to figure out why they are there. When forced to dye Melanie's hair blonde and model in their underwear for some random strange man, you start to get an idea of where the movie is going. There's also a little plot point about how Jules slept with Melanie's jerkoff fiance', but at that point you don't give a shit. Your anticipating what's going to happen next and the fact that Melanie already knows just makes it feel like a totally worthless effort on Jules part of confessing. What a great best friend! After the driver discovers Jules is one some medication for a yeast infection he decides it's time for her to face some death by gas poisoning. What a nazi! Then Melanie gets into a big scuffle for her life and rolls snake eyes, which leaves her trapped inside a big wooden box with cat litter, some food, rolaids, and a photo of a bunch of dirty naked women. Guess where Melanie is going everyone?

I really like the fact that the guy looks at a 2 second video of them, because have you ever tried to take a picture and realized that your video setting is turned on. It's something very reality driven, it's something that a lot of people wouldn't even think of, and it makes me love it more. Also is it just me or does anyone else notice that the chick who plays Melanie looks identical to Neve Campbell? I would just like to mention that she doesn't have a very nice best friend. So her best friend Jules screws her fianace' and she doesn't get upset or anything? I don't understand. I would be like "IT'S TIME FOR ONE OF US TO MAKE A SACRIFICE" and push her into the guy and take off. Haha. But I guess people are always pretty dumb in horror movies, it just has to be that way. So we the viewers can see lot's of BLOOD AND GORE, YAY! I saw that the geeky bald guy was a criminal from the very start, no one is that worthless if they are kidnapped in a movie. They always try to escape at least once. The one thing that really bothers me is all the driving. I get kind of tired of the same surroundings and characters. I need a change of scenery every once in awhile or I'll start to wear thin. Oh and watching the Melanie chick make one horrible decision after another just drives me to the brink of madness. Again this plays back to the fact that no one in horror movies ever make right decisions about anything. Good thing Melanie was forced to dye her hair blonde, she can now show her true colors. It's like a warning sign, haha. Just kidding people, I'm a natural blonde and I'm freakin' awesome!

I like the fact that it was all shot hand held, the jittery feel makes it a lot more intense. The scene where he makes the girls take their clothes off just makes you get that nervous feeling in your stomach. I thought Rape fest 2008 was about to happen! I love the way the scene is filmed though, it's put together so perfectly. The way the girls are spotlighted and the camera follows both of them turning. Mr. Michael Fimognari has quite an eye for detail. It's also good attention to detail how the girls all have to be blonde and any piercings/tattoos have to go. I wish they would have showed the guy burning her bum bum tattoo off, that would have made for some morbid entertainment! Also Tony the actor who plays the shuttle driver plays pain really well. In most movies you'll see someone get stabbed with a rusty knife and they'll get up and runaway like it never happened. But to see someone really go far in their performance and show the pain on their face is awesome to see. Yes, getting stabbed with a piece of glass in the leg is going to fucking hurt like hell, and especially when you pull it out. And when Melanie and him are struggling at the end, that's just good acting folks. I think it's also great that they end the movie with no music and then really low kind of creepy tones. It adds to the awkward sensation and shock you already have at that point, and sends you off to ponder to yourself, "should their be a second one"?
I don't think it needs one. Cased closed!

So Aleata gives Shuttle an overall 4/5 stars. It's a movie that you should pick up if you see it!

Wheelchair Deaths

Okay, so I couldn't stop thinking about this because I watched His Name Was Jason:30 years of Friday The 13th. They had a little talk about the wheelchair death in the 2nd Friday the 13th, which I always found hilarious because that character was totally screwed from the very beginning. You have this character working at a camp, but he's in a wheelchair. what's he going to do take the kids hiking, maybe give them a few swimming lessons, well I guess he could sing campire songs while playing a guitar..if he can play the guitar. Maybe he was there to give them a life lesson about what you don't do, so you don't end up in a wheelchair. I know, I know. Aleata quit picking on the handicapped teenager, but seriously who hired him? Was Jason accepting the applications because I know he wouldn't have cared that much. Maybe Jason is actually a genius and has been secretly luring the teens there. Muaha.

Now the thing about the Friday the 13th 2 wheelchair death is that Jason, in fact, is a retarded mongoloid. So it literally evens it out a bit. But the death is so brutal that you kind of forget all that and say "WHAT THE FUCK"! Not only does he slice a machete through the handicapped kids face, but then proceeds to fall backwards down a huge flight of stairs. I laugh like a hyena when this happens.

Now as you know there's also a Nightmare On Elmstreet with a wheelchair death, it's number 3 Dream warriors. Now what seems more fair about the "Wizard Masters" death is he is in dreamland and can walk for a minute until of course Freddy cripples him. The thing about Freddy is that he's pure evil, there's no convincing, tricking, or stopping him. So if your an Elm Street kid your basically screwed from the beginning, I think he let's them contain some power for awhile just to fuck with them. The fact that this kid obviously plays to much dungeon and dragons makes me want him to die. At least the kid being in a wheelchair makes more sense the kid in Friday number 2. Alright he's some kid who lives on Elm Street and he's in a wheelchair BAM we comprehend it.

The wheelchair wizard attacks Freddy with his D&D powers before he is ultimately annihilated.

If we can say anything about these two psychotic murderers, it's that they don't discriminate! They wil kill gimps, children, animals, senile old men. And I find it all pretty damn funny! What would we do without these deaths? Haha. Anyways what's everyone's favorite cruel death in a horror movie? Let's hear some good ones!

Oh and here's something that is completely off topic. HAPPY EARTH DAY!

WARNING: This is not a horror review. Breath in and out, it will be okay. But what I have for you today is a cute independent movie called Lbs.

Neil (Carmine Famiglietti) is the token fat guy in his family. He has no problem with the way he looks until he realizes how much he is affecting his family. When his sister (Sharon Angela) has to postpone her big wedding because Neil has a heart attack. Not to mention he has the heart attack while he is driving a bus full of little kids on it. I'm not going to lie I laughed pretty hard at that part, I can't help my sense of humor. He worked for his father so his father had to fire him for the incident. Anyways Neil then attends his sisters rescheduled wedding, which turns into a complete disaster. Her new husband is very upset with Neil because he's doing nothing at the wedding but eating all their food. He calls him out about his food addiction and a huge family fight ensues leaving Neil depressed and needing a big change in life. So Neil decides to pack up some of his belongings and head out to butt fucking Egypt to lose the pounds. His best friend Sacco (Michael Aronov) tags along the way to help him out, also fighting his own addiction with drugs (mainly cocaine). The two men begin on a journey to recovery out in their purchased trailers out in the backwoods of a new town, needless to say neither of them make out very well. Neil and Sacco are doing pretty good for awhile taking in the fresh country air, cooking outside in their little fire pit, playing their own make shift sports, and just hanging out. Meanwhile back home his parents (Susan Varon and Fil Formicola) are in a state of panic not knowing where Neil has disappeared to, and how he's doing. Neil and Sacco soon begin scraping about their addictions and it leads to one final fight where Sacco up and leaves, leaving him the message "you do it your way and I'll do it mine". Neil now having no one becomes friends with the man (Eric Leffler) who sold him the land and trailers and a woman (Miriam Shor) who works at the local diner as a waitress. She informs him that she's getting a divorce from her husband and starts hanging out with him all the time. In short she ends up banging him, he falls in love, and she moves out of town with her husband. Neil left all alone besides his friend Lee who watches out for him occasionally, he starts going a little bonkers but continues his venture to lose the pounds. He finally comes back to town a new man, but with a new problem.

Anyways the main focus of this cute independent film is addiction. Addiction to food, addiction to drugs, etc. Everything that he accomplishes seems to go downhill in the end. He becomes a bulimic, loses his best friend, and realizes that everyone around him are shallow assholes. He was once happy and comfortable with himself and now he seems miserable and lonely. I mean shit Bulimia and being over weight can both kill you, so it's somewhat of a lose-lose situation for him. To sum up the ending, it's pretty depressing. He see's everyone he hasn't been acquainted with for awhile and everyone is happy to see him, but he's not happy with himself. So I guess in his case it's one of those "did it all for nothing" things. I like this movie though it shows someone who gets pushed over the edge and finally decides to do something about it. And it shows as Lee Dawkins quotes "Even if you've changed don't expect that anyone else has". So there's quite a few underlying messages to be found in this movie. I'd would also like to mention that Neil's Character is a dickhead in the end when he does nothing to help out his friend. I mean if your best friend turned into a homeless bum with not even a pair of shoes to wear, wouldn't you do something to help them. It really irks me that he just has some crazy hallucination and then walks away, but it does make for a cool type of scene.

Because it's me reviewing this movie, I have to point out that there's actually a creepy scene where he's dreaming that his mom is in his trailer cooking Christmas dinner for him. I mean it's the lighting, music, and the way the actress is talking that makes it extremely eerie. She reminds me of Annie Wilkes in the scene just the way she's lurking there and it's lit like a scene from "Parents". The mention of the peppers and sausage made me want to vomit on myself, two foods I do not like. Just would like to make a correction Carimine Famigietti actually did lose the weight over the filming process, which is pretty amazing. He slimmed down a lot by the end of the movie! Carmine Famigietti is a fantastic actor, especially in the scenes where he's going crazy and becoming a little schizophrenic. He shows emotion in facial expressions extremely well, and it makes you feel for him. But don't be fooled he can portray mean when he wants to, hence the scene where him and Sacco end their friendship. Also his sisters husbands character is a good one to comment on. Anthony (Lou Martini Jr.) puts on a great performance as the only person not fooled by Neil's "diet" antics. Truth be told he's sneaking out and eating at a pizza parlor and having Sacco sneak him in twinkies and such (After he has the heart attack). After Neil comes back and has lost weight you can tell that Anthony is genuinely proud of him. All in all Lbs is a pretty smooth running movie that's well made and has a nice little story about fighting obesity. I say that because in the end he's at the meetings and you feel like he's going to get help.

Again I would like to apologize for my lack of updates, but I now have access to a laptop again, so reviews will be coming! Oh I know your as excited as I am! I still have been a busy beaver (Wow that sounds sexist and perverted, haha) but I will get reviews up as soon as I can. And I love you guys for still checking back to read my psychobabble reviews. So thanks for sticking with me!

Do you enjoy giant crocodile's? What about dumb people being eaten? What about DICKS BEING BITTEN OFF? I'm just kidding about that last part, but it could have happened. Actually there's a good chance that the giant crocodile took a bite out of someone and severed their dick clean off with it's teeth. Okay well now that I have grabbed your attention I will stop talking about dicks, or will I? It's a mystery to us all. Anyways I'm highly attracted to Crocodile and shark (or any other water dwelling creatures) movies because I have a giant fear of water and what's lurking beneath it. So every horror movie involving water no matter how cheesy it looks I have to watch it. So as you can see this movie was made by Greg Mclean who did the craptastic movie Wolf Creek. My boyfriend was like "why don't they just call it crocodile creek", hahaha. Yes, I find that extremely funny! And shit why didn't they? It would sum the movie up a whole lot better than "rogue". Oh you naughty misbehaving crocodile! Anyways I've been fighting with myself about this movie all day. It radiates amazing tension from the moment the humongous crocodile tips over the boat until the tour group escapes, then it gets retarded. I was well aware that disappointment would come, but a good chunk of this movie was pretty awesome! If someone enjoys a-creature-from-the-filthy-depths-is-going-to-eat-the-shit-out-of-all-of-you movie, it's Aleata! Here's where the problem arises. There was way to many survivors for my taste. I'm one of those people who wants to see everyone get offed, because I purely enjoy it. I enjoy yelling at my t.v. things such as "GET OWNED", and "BITCH THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND RAN"! Yes, I'm typically a really amusing and fun person to watch movies with, especially in the theater. I don't hold anything back. I also will not keep anything from you guys in the review. So here goes with Rogue, enjoy folks! =]

This movie is about Kate Ryan (Radha Mitchell) who gives boat tours for "Ryan's wildlife cruise" in the Australian outback. And Pete (Michael Vartan) who's a journalist who's traveled from America to write a story about the tour. He typically writes stories for his job about resorts, hotels, restaurants, etc. So anyways Kate gets her tour group together which consists of Mary Ellen (Caroline Brazier), Simon (Stephan Curry), Gwen (Celia Ireland), Russell (John Jaratt), Elizabeth (Heather Mitchell), Allen (Jeff Morrell), Merv (Barry Otto), Everett (Robert Taylor), and Sherry (Mia Wasikowska). Kate's Ex Neil (Sam Worthington) and his friend Collin (Damien Richardson), also follow them around and harass the tourists for a minute before Kate puts Neil in his place. And in his place I do mean in the water where his dick is then bitten off by a giant croc OH I GOT YOU AGAIN! Seriously though, she knocked him in the water. Anyways this group of tourists is like a group of the dumbest people alive. In my opinion they all should have bit the dust. I'm like cheering the whole time for the crocodile, "COME ON I KNOW YOUR HUNGRY YOU MARKED THOSE BASTARDS NOW EAT THEM"! And what happens..a good chunk of the cast walk away unharmed, you know what that does to Aleata...makes her upset. So the group is floating along peacefully in their boat when one of the tourists notices a flare through his video camera. Oh sir you've just doomed yourself and all the others..oh wait! No you didn't because half the cast lives! So it's procedure for Kate to check out the scene and make sure everything is okay. She starts the boat towards the flare and a little bit later BAM BAM boat gets raped by the big ass crocodile! She wrecks the boat into the stupidest place possible and they are now trapped on a tide island. So when the tide comes up the entire island will be under water and they will all be fucked in the ass.

Then Neil and Collin drive by in their little speed boat showing off and get a good rapin too leaving Collin eatin, their boat sunk, and Neil on the island of fucked individuals. So the group of dipshits put their heads together and come up with some of the most idiotic plans ever. Plan 1 is Neil sneaky swims across to the other patch of land with a rope, he ties the rope to a tree on the other side for everyone to pull themselves across. But of course when your with a group of morons something is going to always go wrong. In this case like 4 different things go wrong. How can you fuck up something so simple, so bad. Just ask these cats. In any case plan 2 is hatched, they get a big fish hook with some big dead fish on it and shake it around on a rope on the other side of the island as a distraction. The plan goes halfway okay because half of the idiots even the old ass bitch with the kid that can't swim make it across, but then CHOMP Bye bye Kate. So Pete takes Kate's dog and tries to find the others, but ends up in the mouth of the crocodile head quaters. He finds Kate partly chewed up but still alive OF COURSE. Her dogs get eaten and Pete has to fight the beast one on one, which looks extremely horrible and lasts to long if you ask me. The first time he pokes the croc with a stick it bites it in two, but for some reason the second time it lunges itself at the stick impaling itself through the head and dies. WOW. Make sense, not much, but that's all she wrote.

For awhile this movie makes me feel like I'm watching a wildlife documentary. It does have beautiful Australian scenery shots, but perhaps to many for me to handle for a horror movie. There are few funny parts of this movie, but one of them is the fat lady with a fanny pack hitting on Neil at his first appearance. The dialogue that goes along with that scene is pretty funny. I laugh at the whole aspect of this fat lady wearing a fanny pack. But then she tries to get all sexy and sassy up on these Australian's, and tries to take photographs of their dicks (that's not a joke). Then there's the old ass lady (who always makes ridiculous faces) who has a 13 year old daughter...is that even possible? I'm just going to pretend that she adopted her, so I don't get any disturbing thoughts. So the middle part of the movie is good. The intensity of it really built up well, but they just shoot down my hopes toward the end. When their stuck on the island it's fun and spooky to watch, especially because it gets really dark out, making the threat of the crocodile scarier. Also I have to mention the music at that point in the movie is fantastic! It reminded me of the Kronos Quartet in Requiem for a dream. Has that extreme sound that just gives you shivers. He's just lurking out there in the black water waiting to pop out and eat someone. That's entertainment.

The design of the crocodile, like the way they showed parts of him until the end was also really cool. Because you show a CGI tail or CGI teeth and you know it doesn't look that bad, but when you show a whole CGI crocodile in light it looks so fucking shitty. Everyone knows how much I despise CGI! I can only stomach it in small increments. The effects that they did have you know like Kate's injuries did look pretty good, and Pete's half eaten hand. Now he's going to have to get some butt bones surgically implanted where his fingers used to be, like Shia LaBeouf. Dun Dun Dunnnn. As I mentioned before the location was beautiful and everything was quite accurate. I also liked the look of the tour boat it did remind me of Hatchet for a minute. I do mean the boat and the whole swamp look that the river has. I would also like to mention that Kevin the dog was a spectacular actor and the best in the movie! I got very butt fucking upset when the croc ate him, but not the fucking idiotic people. Michael Vartan has the fakest screams in the entire world, haha. I have no idea what made these people decide to make the end so boring. The fact that so many ignorant people lived pissed me off, the fact that the guy killed the big croc in the simplest way pissed me off, the fact that Kate has just been eaten by a giant croc and lives pissed me off, the fact that this big croc didn't have any vengeful babies pissed me off, and last but not least the fact that Greg Mclean directed this movie pissed me off. I'm feeling a little clear headed now I have that out of my system. What does this movie teach us boys and girls? Bring stupid people all together in a huge angry crocodiles territory! *Thumbs up*

I'm going to have to rate this movie a 3/5 stars. It gets that rating because the middle of the movie was so good and had me on edge. And because I'm such a freak about water, even though I'm a Scorpio, a water sign. What a contradiction I am.

Okay I just want to say I enjoy this movie. I have no problem with this movie it's the quote they put on the cover that aggravated. Let me introduce you to something reasoning. Alright the quote is "Blair witch on acid" --Lucyvine.zoo Now this annoys me for a number of reasons. First off the kids are not on acid their on shrooms, so why would you reference acid? Acid does not give the same trip as shrooms. Secondly the blair witch is by far one of the dumbest movies ever made, so I wouldn't want to compare them to it. Thirdly only "blair witch on acid" couldn't have put written something partially intelligent about it. Hahaha, I'm sorry but it bugged me and I had to get that out of my system. No offense to the person who wrote it, your quote just doesn't make sense to me. Anyways who gives a shit we must move forward to the review!

Shrooms is a horror mystery with a hallucinagenic journey into the macabre. A group of friends Tara (Lindsey Haun), Jake (Jack Huston), Troy (Max Kasch), Lisa (Maya Hazen), Holly (Alice Greczyn), and Bluto (Robert Hoffman) take a trip to Ireland to take the "Trip of their lives". Instead they get man handled by the shrooms and stalked by some angry backwoods folk, or do they? Jake tells a little tale of kids from a old nearby school being tortured and killed by the sadistic man referred to as the "black brother" (Toby Sedgwick).Now Jake is also the drug expert of the crew and begins informing everyone of what type of shrooms they are searching for. Tara wanders off from her friends and finds the shroom with the black nipple on top of it. There just so happens to be a very poisonous mushroom in season this year that is identical to the one Jake described to everyone. Tara not yet aware that she is about to consume a very deadly shroom swallows that baby. Convulsions and hallucinations insue with no desired end and Tara is really in for the trip of her life. A very bad, very bloody, very out of control, and very permanent trip. She goes to sleep and the next day finds out that Bluto is missing and the rest of her friends are still about to indulge in some brewed shrooms. They all split up in the woods to find Bluto and enjoy their trip, and they start to get knocked off one by one by weirdo's or supernatural forces. Anyways Tara starts getting premonitions about her friends dying and they come true. So all this madness mixed together and you get Shrooms. I, along with my sister Tiara guessed what was going to happen sometime at the beginning of the movie. But I still wouldn't want to call it predictable. It's to much fun to call predictable you just want to go with the flow.

Now a lot of things about this movie tickle my pickle especially the tagline "get ready to get wasted". Just reading that and viewing the awesome cover art makes you want to watch the movie. One of my favorites scenes is Bluto's interaction with the hallicinatory cow. Not only was it well played by Robert, but fucking hilarious! Very much what someone on shrooms would do. I have to address the cinematography Oh. My. God. ! Nanu Segal I raise my glass to you! That location makes me cream in my pants, I would love to go there and camp out. The woods are amoung some of my favorite on screen woods, which are also extremely spooky. If I was in those same woods and someone was telling a ghost story I would definitely be getting shivers up my spine. The actor Toby who plays the black brother has intimidating and alarmingly dysfunctional body language. His movements are some of the most awkward and disembodied I've ever seen. He reminds me of a marionette, like someone is pulling his limbs along disjointedly with strings. It's a lot of fun to watch his performance. There's not that much gore, but they don't slow down on the blood spill. The actors all did a fine job doing what they do. Lindsey Haun's face annoys me so bad. I can't put my finger on it, she's just one of those people I hate looking at. She's a fine actress, I just dislike looking at her face for more then 2 seconds. Also if you haven't caught it Lindsey sings the second song in the credits. It's all about details people, haha. And surprisingly there's no boobs in this movie, but you do get a glimpse of some hairy armpits! Yum! Also for a minute of the movie I could have swore it was a tampon commercial. You'll see what I mean. I'm also a fan of axes as murder weapons it kind of reminded me of Lucky Mckee's The Woods when I thought about it, but it's completely different. I loved the decaying school house they used at the end as well. It's like you can almost smell how musty it looks. When you get that kind of effect from a movie you know it's good stuff.

One thing I wish they would have elaborated on was the intensity of the hallcinatory state the friends were in. They should have showed vivid hallucinations the friends were having while they were being pursued by the murderer. I'm not going to lie, I've done shrooms, and if I was tripping around 2 completely psychotic backwoods bums talking about sleeping with pigs and how sandpapery bull calves tongues are. I'd be fucking freaking out! I mean you really need to feel that level of insanity from that persons perspective, and it would have made the movie that much more frightening. I mean one of the scariest things in the world is having a bad trip, no doubt! One because your no longer in reality while being there. Anything could happen anyone could take advantage of you in that state of mind. You could wander off and get lost, or you could very easily walk into traffic and die if no one was watching you. Or you could be stuck in your head in a very bad place. And very much become scarred for life. There is no end to what could occur while being doped up in a hallucinatory coma. The thought of it really makes me nervous and my palms sweat. So that's the basic reason that I'm highly (no pun intended) attracted to drug-horror movies. They bring something real yet absolutely horrifying to the table. The way I've seen some film makers play with the genre has just blown my mind for instance...The Jackhammer massacre, Cookers, and Side FX. The horror in these movies is a great sense of terror, but the fact of these people being junkies, or taking a mystery drug bought on the street is even scarier. My point is is that movies based on some type of reality are a different type of horror,a much powerful type. Could you imagine if it happened to you? You just keep asking yourself while watching it, "what would I do in that type of situation"?

Alright to punt it bluntly this movies confuses the shit out of me. This boy Patrick (Eric Lehning) has been desperately in love with this neighborhood girl Wendy (Shellie Marie Shartzer). Wendy end up dying (They never explain why or how) and somehow is risen from the dead (They never explain either). Patrick and his twin brother Carol (Cody DeVos) and his little brother Beetle (Brett Miller) find her tied to tree's and decide to take her home. Well home to their friend Rody's house who's on vacation. Anyways the film is narrated by the little brother Beetle, who introduces you to the main characters and the basic plot of the movie. So Wendy somehow randomly dies or is murdered and comes alive to snap a dogs neck and is roped to a couple tree's by someone they never identify. So the brothers find her and Patrick feels it fit to take her back to his friends house and keep her in the bathtub. He's trying to somehow rekindle their non-existent lost love. I guess sometimes certain people's deaths just make already weird people even weirder and sane people insane.They have a funeral and proper burial for Wendy much expecting that she's never coming back. Little do they know that Wendy is a full blown zombie at this point in time. But she's a definition Romero zombie, wobbling around with stiff movements, and only eating flesh and blood things. It's really awkward how Patrick just stays with her alone in the bathroom a lot and begins acting more and more strange. All the kids try to continue on with their lives and you meet other characters. Carol's crush Addy (Leah High), Wendy's boyfriend Brian (Josh Duensing), and Addy's friend Anne Haran (Tia Shearer). Beetle ends up getting into a fight with Patrick and informs Addy that she needs to see something. So they go to Rody's house where zombie Wendy is being held captive by Patrick, and it all ends in tears...and a face being bitten off (which they don't show).

I love the character of Rody (Jordan Lehning). In his introduction he's just a complete nutbag, haha. Beetle stating that he "hates when people get sad or scared". The comes a little montage of him chopping stuff up and firing a shotgun. It's just really humorous considering the circumstances of the movie and what Beetle is talking about. Now there's a couple small things I can pick out that I enjoy in this movie, but all in all I don't like it. I like how they always call Anne Haran, Anne Haran. I have certain friends that I always refer to by their first and last name, so I found it kinda funny. Anyways the cinematography is really nice. Everything is pretty bright and colorful and if anyone loves colors it's meee! So the colors and lighting used were very delightful. I also like the style of clothing everyone wears. Especially with Wendy, her dress was adorable. You have to give credit where credit is due Shellie Marie Shartzer makes a great and sexy zombie. I mean in the way of acting, that would be pretty boring having to sit around like that and only being able to maneuver slightly in short stiff movements. And little Beetle was a good actor as well.

They introduce all the characters and give a little to much pointless information about them. It just really bores me. I was all about seeing this zombie bitch eat a couple people, but that's not the direction they took at all. Instead it's more of a slow paced zombie love story with family undertones. It's not a movie that I'd want to watch more than once. If your interested in more sappy stuff, then this movie is for you. When it boils down to it the main focus is on the relationships between the friends and family, and them dealing with the loss of a good friend. So there's no gore, no zombie attacks (Except on a dog and a rat), and no extreme violence. Which to me was pretty damn depressing. I love a decent story, but I love gore and violence even more. This isn't really in any way horror related. It's more drama filled then anything. It has some dark aspects to it considering their little brother watches Patrick torture Wendy. I mean that has to be creepy as hell from the eyes of a 10 year old (or however old he is). The story branches off into more of a tale of obsession with Carol feelings for Addy and Patrick's undying love for Wendy. The movie drags on with no actual entertaining point.

The build up the last moments of the film way to ridiculously. For the fact that it only shows blood pouring from his mouth after one little bite. It just turned out to be a bit of a disappointment to me. It gave off way to much of a family film vibe and that's not up my alley.

Horror Ladies Mix Up

Okay I thought I'd do a little post about this because it's something that drives me mad. There's two actresses that frequent the horror genre that I constantly get mixed up when I see one of them in a movie. Melissa George and Naomi Watts! You'll recognize Melissa from horror movies such as Triangle, 30 days of night, Turistas, and the Amityville horror. You'll recognize Naomi from horror movies such as The Ring 1 and 2, Funny Games, King Kong, and Children Of the corn: The gathering.
It's amazing because I see them both so much and still confuse them. You don't know what either of them look like, take a gander below!

The Crazies remake is coming to theaters soon and along with it plenty of promotional material in all forms. One cute one is the crazies game on facebook. It's a fun little time waster where your trapped in the town with a couple other survivors. With each level comes missions, and they get tougher and tougher the higher you get. You place your men and their weapons and then fire away as the crazies charge toward you. As the game advances you get money and gold to pawn for more money to buy different and more suitable weapons for your protection. You also get mission updates telling you Crazies killed, ammo used, and money earned to keep track of everything. If the crazies break down your defenses (in my case they bum rushed into one of my buildings and burned it down, haha) you are overrun by them and get to start over. R.I.P. Corey Haim!

Corey Haim died this morning at the age of 38 years old.

Needless to say Corey Haim was an awesome horror actor. Acting in movies such as the classic vampire flick Lost Boys, Fever Lake, and The Back Lot Murders. Corey was a big drug addict though, which they believe is the cause of his death. They found 4 bottles of pills by him where he died. It's so sad. May he Rest In Peace!

Hello horror fiends. For those of you who are interested I've started a new blog about yours truly. Note: This is an older post I had lost on my broken laptop. So as you can see it's Winter right now and we wouldn't be hiking. HAHA. So I added some stuff and here it is! Enjoy darlings!

So Sunday my boyfriend and I went hiking in Spangler park, which is absolutely B E A utiful! It got me thinking how much I really want to shoot a horror movie in the woods, but not a typical horror movie, something extremely unique. There exists only a couple movies that involve woods that are really special, and really bring a sense of originality to them. The first movie that comes to my mind is Lucky McKee's "The Woods". I just glow and sparkle with joy when I show someone this movie who hasn't seen it. I enjoy watching their awed reactions. Lucky McKee is indeed one of my favorite directors and deserves more recognition for the mind bendingly brilliant movies he creates. Some of his amazing flicks you should check out are "Sick Girl" (he did this fantastic movie for "Masters of horror" starring Angela Bettis and Erin Brown) , "May", and of course "The Woods". And the review starts now, enjoy!

This movie takes place in 1965. "The Woods" stars Agnes Bruckner as Heather a girl who is exceptionally different from other girls, and has a tad bit of a problem with setting things on fire. Her mother and father (Bruce Campbell and Emma Campbell) tire of her antics and send her to a private all girls school "Fallburn Academy", which she immediately grows an extreme distaste for. She off the bat notices there's something definitely wrong with the teachers and school. The actors chosen were all well suited for their parts. They all bring out great personalities or lack of personalities (when certain students are being drained of emotion). Patricia Clarkson made a very subtle yet wicked headmistress. You wonder how she can be so bent on destruction with the calmness she emanates throughout the movie. But the girls are sought out for their "special talents" that they acquire. Heather just happens to have the most important talent of them all, and her friend Marcy (Lauren Birkell) has an important role as well.

The dream sequences have such a fast paced shock quality to them they are wonderfully exhilarating. With such bright and vivid contrast to them (morning shots in the woods) as well. You really get caught up in the seclusion of this school way out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by bunches and bunches of trees. I mean the location is perfect for the cryptic type of forest that Lucky was portraying. The cinematography, especially of the woods is so beyond words. The trees take on their own evil character, and you start to really get paranoid watching scenes of anyone in or near the woods. I totally dig the twisted, vile, and enclosed feeling the woods give off. It's this unspoken evil that you know is lurking out there. Samantha (Rachel Nichols) plays the absolute perfect antagonist as she tries to torment Heather into leaving the school. Because she knows of the evil doings of the Teachers there. It ends tragically for Samantha when the Headmistress hears her trying to clue Heather in on what's going on. Heather even tries to escape a couple times but is prevented by the woods. I also love the myth about the 3 sisters. It's played in such a Grimm's fairy tale manner. As the movie continues on tree's attack, girls are brain washed, and it comes to a bloody fun ending you won't forget. The image of Heather with that red axe is imprinted in my mind. Seriously the axe rampage is beautifully done, and the type of blood used is to spectacular! And of course Bruce Campbell has a kick ass part as Heather's dad who will stop at nothing to save his daughter from the evil teachers. I also love the tree's consuming the girls towards the end. It's a mix of practical and CGI that just works delightfully. And you will rarely ever hear me say that. Lucky pulls it off and it makes for one of my favorite movies!

I also have to mention the soundtrack right here. Basically the entire soundtrack is compiled of Lesley Gore songs. I LOVE LESLEY GORE! I think the one song she is known for is the only song of hers I don't like (It's my party), ring a bell anyone? But seriously some of her very best songs were slapped into this movie, especially "You don't own me". To me it's extremely bothersome if you have a great movie with a bad soundtrack. Because when I fall in love with a movie I have to watch it a good 20 times before putting it back on my movie shelf, and trying to watch one of your fave movies and listening to the same annoying songs or scores really sucks! So when I come across a movie like "The woods" you could imagine how stoked I was. So here's to an amazing work of art!

Blogging Drama 3: The Drama Returns

First off I sincerely apologize to all my readers for having to endure this drama. But I would just like to point out and correct some things. I've tried to be polite and respectful about things, but that's just not working out.

Okay do you find it strange that Heidi is harassing an entire group of writers with blogs? One by one she has been writing rude posts about everyone. You do know you review movies, and not bloggers Heidi? Heidi enjoys pushing everyone around and seems to think that no one is going to push back. And I'm getting harassed because I'm bullying the bully? In her latest post she just shows that she's not going to quit. I became aware of this when one of my friends posted something about it. If you recall she started this entire ordeal. I stood up because along with several of my friends I was being belittled by someone that I don't even know. Am I wrong for that? Now I would think that anyone else being harassed would stick up for themselves as well. No one had made any rude comments about Heidi or pretty-scary previous to the "ms horror blogosphere competition", so why is she continuously slandering us? Saying mean things isn't going to make anyone like you more. And seriously someone who reads through various blogs that you really don't like to pick out every single grammatical error that someone has made. Honey you have no life! I can give you suggestions of things to do if you REALLY can't find anything. On a serious note, I really feel bad for you. You have to be a miserable person with a miserable life to create such bullshit over the internet.

Let me correct some comments created about me.
First off, I said that " someone SHOULD punch her in the face" not that I was GOING to find her and punch her in the face. And she probably will get hers for all the negativity that just radiates off of her. It's called Karma. I was making a smartass remark to make people laugh and see the ridiculousness of the situation. Some people obviously couldn't sense the sarcasm...that's not my problem. I love how people are trying to take my words out of context and change them into something they want to hear.

Oh and I've gained more followers and hits on my pages thanks for the free promotion Heidi! As far as her trying to knock my status as a filmmaker. She hasn't seen any of our horror movies. We don't have any posted online, so how can she (and her readers that left rude comments about me) criticize my work? Yeah, it baffles my mind as well. Darling you haven't seen nothing yet. I know you wanted me to respond because you seem to thrive off drama. Well I think you should get a gig with a gossip column. Horror doesn't seem to be your thing.

I'm not a professional (wouldn't care if I was either) and I don't care how this looks to anyone. I have a right to defend my blog and the people who are being harassed. So GO FUCK YOURSELF Heidi! You are a nasty person who shows no respect for others. And to make me out to look like the bad person for defending myself and others, you obviously have lot's of free time. I suggest you get out more. Do you really think your going to discourage me from doing what I love to do? You nor anyone else in this world is going to shut me up. NEWS FLASH your making yourself look bad AND ignorant. That's pretty sad considering your..how old? Come on tell me how much you really hate me (for no reason whatsoever) because your getting me more hits on my pages. Yes, I realize I'm not helping the situation anymore, but it's almost to funny not to poke fun at it now. Just remember I'm laughing at you.

Oh and please editor Heidi spell check my work. I threw in a couple extra mistakes for you to find.

Anything else said about me will be ignored. Anyone who posts anything derogatory on my page about myself or my friends, your comments will be deleted. So don't waste your time.

And I would also like to announce that I've started my new life as a rapper. My first single "get a life" will be out early next month.
